I love the prices and clothes at wet seal but it is no surprise to me that this store only has 2 ½ stars. Their customer service is terrible and the store manager has a serious attitude problem. I had to get corporate involved for a return when I had the original receipt and id and all necessary information. When you don’t provide your customers with adequate service it’s no wonder so many stores have closed in southern California. Hopefully they will make the necessary changes in their staff to earn repeat business.

I have come here 3 times to return an online order. First time I tried to return my order, their system was down. Ok no problem. Came back the next day to return an item and they wouldn’t return a bikini for me. Ok my fault I didn’t know it was final sale. So the girl ringing me up was kind enough to let me exchange the top bikini for a bigger size and I was grateful. But she forgot to put my bikini bottom in the bag with the bikini top I exhanged. So I had to come back a THIRD time and explain to them what happened to get my bikini bottom back. Jeez what a hassle. Anyways, I should have learned my lesson, but no I went back yesterday to return another online order and I was returning sunglasses/bralettes which are NOT listed as final sale on my receipt and they are not sold as jewelry or lingerie on the website, but as accessories and tops. Apparently store return policies are different from online return policy, even though the website clearly says I can return my items in store under the website policy. Anyways they only let me return the sunglasses, but wtf, if you’re doing me «a favor» do me a whole favor and return the bralettes too. They couldn’t even justify why they had a different return policy, which is why they did me a «half favor» and asked me to contact online customer service to return the rest of my order by mail. Thanks for gypping me wetseal. At least have a consistent return policy. Too many hassles with this store.

Terrible customer service. Things on clearance are not even price correctly. I found a pair of boots that were marked in the 60% off clearance section and went to ask for the other shoe so I could try them on. The lady at the register told me she threw the other one out and apologized and took my boot to toss. Why would they not have the crew that stocks inventory correctly and remove completely the boot? I wasn’t upset until I asked if there were other boots like this at that price(it was marked down to basically $ 10) and she pointed to a wall and told me the same color but with a different pattern. I went to look for my size and did not see the clearance price on the boot though, so I figured to just keep at the clearance section where I had originally found the boot. I decided to be willing to buy the boots in a different color instead since it was such a great price, but when I went to the register I asked why the boots I picked were discounted so low since they were also on the wall of $ 25 boots. I wondered if it was because the leather were extremely scuffed up to the point it wasn’t buying brand new so they tried to sell it cheap anyways. The lady then tells me they aren’t that price and she refused to give me the advertised price. That is FALSEADVERTISEMENT. Then I was really upset because then she blames it that customers change the sticker prices all the time to try to get discounts. That’s not my problem. HER job is to put stuff in the right places and make sure they are marked well. Instead, the girl and her co worker were just sitting on the counter chatting. Terrible customer service, I always go to the one in Mission Viejo mall and had never had any problems with things being marked wrong let alone adversiting ONE boot when the other was thrown away. Never am coming back to this wet seal again.

I came here on Friday and their system was down So I couldn’t purchase what I wanted One of the girls working there said she could hold my stuff until Monday since that was the day I could come back and buy it She assured me that it will be on hold til then Today is Monday and I went in and nope it wasn’t on hold no more A different girl helping me went to go look for it and we only found two of the shirts I wanted and the other one got sold She didn’t once say sorry or anything It was like she didn’t care Horrible customer service This is exactly why I don’t like to put stuff on hold

Store is nice with good selection. However I cannot stand when there are two or more employees standing around or organizing clothes when there is a line and only one employee ringing. Really?! Customer service first, everything else comes second. Get it together.

I love how store knocked down the wall in the middle of their building. It creates a more open space. The staff here is friendly and ready to help you. Their clothing choices are great and have a nice assortment if sizes. Their boots are great and I always look forward to fall when their new line comes out.

I love this store! Their discount card is a great asset if you shop here a lot which I know I do! I got mine for free because I happened to have purchased a little over $ 100 worth of items and now I get 10% off of everything in the store, on TOP of their promotional sales. The clothes are extremely cute and comfortable. VERY friendly staff! :)

I love this store! The staff is really friendly and the girl at the register even gave me multiple discount opportunities. The dress I picked out was on sale and she even went so far as to warn me that it was so cheap because of some imperfection on the dress. She helped me look for it and made sure I was okay with it before I made the purchase. Great customer service. :) I wish I got her name. Their fitting rooms, however, are tiny as fudge! And I am a pretty tiny person as well so I guess it must mean something that I almost felt a little claustrophobic in there. Lol.

I have not been into a Wet Seal in Years. I would compare it to a Forever 21. Good clothing styles, but unfortunately the quality of the clothes don’t seem to match up with their overinflated prices. Friendly staff.
