Everyone thinks their style of working out, or lack thereof is the best. No matter who you are or what style you train, THE12 will conquer you. From beginners to the well experienced, I’ve found that this place has got what it takes to keep me engaged. I love the staff who make the experience something you crave everyday. I travel quite a bit for work so coming here more than twice a week is tough. But when I’m there, I’m engaged and all the members seem to be having the same experience. I can’t say enough amazing things about The 12 Movement! I gladly 5 stars across the board! I have tried several gyms and this is the first place that feels as good as coming home. The trainers are the best and have become like family. The workouts are always new, creative, energetic and designed to push you to limits you never knew you were capable of doing. The workouts, the people, the music, the trainers and the gym all add up to the best hour you will have all day. The 12 is life changing for a multitude of reasons but specifically for the empowerment they preach. Not only do they teach you how to gain strength from physical exertion and constant motivation, but they idolize that power starts from within. You will not only be gaining physical strength from these workouts but a stronger mentality that will eventually lead to a happier life overall. Studies show that exercise leads to a longer, happier life — the 12 does a great job reinforcing this mentality and making sure their clients can attain this through ritualistic workouts and imperative self-motivation. Give it a try and fall in love — their instructors as well as their staff provide a warm & welcoming home for everyone no matter what their goal is. My fiancé used to tell me that I needed to make sure to incorporate strength training into my workout routine — I was that girl who would spin 7 days a week — a complete«cardio junkie» I guess some would call me. I would always acknowledge him and agree; however, I would never follow through. At least, not until I found The 12. The 12 community seemed to welcome me with open arms — especially Keith! From day 1 Keith made me feel like I was part of this community, like I mattered. To this day, he challenges me and makes me push myself to be the best me that I can be. And then I met Amy. Amy has also been there to guide me and push me — she seems to know just how much I am capable of and she BELIEVES in me. I always wondered what The 12 was all about. I’d spin at GRIT Cycle and I’d see people I’d spin with checking into The 12 on Facebook and other forms of social media and I wondered what The 12 was all about. Now I know. If you haven’t been to The 12 — check it out. It’s more than just a gym — it truly is a community — a community where you will grow and change, and where it feels like the trainers truly take the journey with you every step of the way. I have been going to the 12 for almost a year now. Its a great work out! The combo of cardio, weights, and high intensity work gets the job done for my busy schedule. The trainers are great and fun and push you. Keith and Orah are the best!

I’ve been going to the 12 now for a few months and all I can say is that it’s been amazing! I try to go a few days a week, mainly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays either before or after work. If I go before, I go to the 6:15 class with Amy and she just brings so much positive energy and enthusiasm to the class. It makes waking up at 5 am a little easier. If I go to the evening classes, I take Orah’s classes. She is so amazing and really pushes you to do your best and genuinely cares. The workouts are always a little different each week. It’s really challenging but I like how it doesn’t become a routine. I’m constantly learning new exercises to work different muscles and I think that’s why I’ve been seeing results. Last July I resolved to start getting healthy, not necessarily skinny, but I wanted to start feeling better. I started to workout everyday and eating slightly healthier but I wasn’t seeing as much change as I wanted to see. My friend convinced me to go to a class with her and after that I was hooked! The atmosphere is just so motivating and positive and keeps me wanting to do more and become better. I’ve seen so much progress over the last few months and I owe a lot of that to The 12.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I used to be an avid gym/studio hopper. I would jump from place to place pending on which one I could find a deal or groupon for. Then I joined ClassPass which is amazing and totally works for some people and worked for me, until I found the 12. ClassPass only allows for 3 classes/month at each studio. After I tried The 12 for the first time, I used up those 3 classes for the month within 3 days and I instantly was hooked. I knew 3 classes/month was never going to be enough of this place, I had finally found the gym for me. The workouts are constantly varied and challenging. The trainers are always positive and motivating. The environment is perfectly clean and inviting. The 12 has turned into a second home for me where on rest days I actually miss going. It really is everything anyone could want from a gym. If you are looking to get into the best shape of your life, this is the place for you. I thought I was in decent shape before going here, but in the last 20 weeks, I have lost 10 lbs and have gone from 23.6% to 17.3% body fat. Seriously, if you are thinking about trying out The 12, JUSTDOIT!

Just finished my first Boom class! I love this gym. I love the blaring music, I love the intensity, I love the social nature. It is the most positive energy I have ever experienced at a gym. Ever! For years I’ve tried this gym and that gym. Tried yoga and running and workout videos at home. Nothing I have done has made me WANT to go to the gym like The 12. I leave every class exhausted and exhilarated. It is the best hour(or today 2 hours!) of my day. The Boom class was great. So. Much. Ankle bands. I haven’t yet found a class I don’t like but I am excited to add this in every Saturday. The motions are very controlled and very focused. You can feel them getting stronger! The coaches at The 12 are so dedicated to their program and every person who goes to a class. I still needs lots of modifications and not one class has gone by I wasn’t offered some guidance, coaching, encouragement, and several times heavier dumbbells than I was already using. I couldn’t say enough good things about The 12. It is changing my life every day and it’s the best thing I have done for myself in years. So many goals to achieve now!

This review is from a brand new member to the 12 and a January Challenger! I plan to update it as my experience continues. My initial feelings though are awesome. I’ve attended 3 classes and WOW these are awesome. They work you out! Each 1 hr session is non stop action. The best way to describe it is you rotate between 5 – 8 stations where at each station there are assigned exercises /activities that your group has to complete in a certain amount of time. Then you rotate to the next station. However instead of just taking a light break in between, they have to doing other exercises to really get the sweat going and your heart pumping. There is no way you would be able to get this level of intensity on your own at another gym. With the music going, time flies quickly. Also note that no 2 classes are ever the same so it’s a new experience each time. Another positive. The staff here are awesome. Extremely friendly and motivating. They really want you to succeed. I’ve taken classes with Amy and Orah and both were amazing. They show you how to do the exercises first and will even nicely come around during class and correct you if you are doing something improperly. Josh the owner is also super passionate about his work and really wants you to get the most out of your experience. I’m really looking forward to starting the challenge and working out here. I’m already a convert!
The 12 is a unique and wonderful place that I look forward to visiting as often as I can. The trainers, staff, and members that you interact with there are all fantastic. It makes working out fun! Each workout has been designed with care and is a signature of the trainer that designed it. You can tell a Matt workout vs a Tricia workout vs a Sarah workout vs. Each day one trainer designs the workout so that regardless of which session you go to on a particular Monday, you are getting a Monday workout. That is really nice so regardless of your schedule, you can get your workouts in. If you go through the week, you’ll get a great overall workout as each day has a different focus that is designed to work together with the other workout days. I am still pretty new to the whole fitness life thing, but I consider The12 to be an important part of it. The people, trainers, and facility is an extended part of my family and home and I am grateful for that. A bad day is a better day and a good day becomes greater after you get some time in at this fitness oasis. Stop by and give a few sessions a try. Who knows, it may change how you view fitness and it may change your life.
