Subway

Service here is quick. Although I’ve never been here during the lunch rush, the shop is always clean and bright.
This link in the Subway chain is solid, and one of the least disastrous Subway shops I’ve been to, as I find that so many of these sandwich «artists» can abuse and misuse the ingredients that more often than not give the whole franchise a bad name, and take this from someone who has frequented multiple Subway locations over a number of years.
One thing that irks me is the whole «Cold Cut Combo» thing, where it says on the menu that it comes with «ham, salami, and bologna,» and when I ordered it for the first time, there was no ham or salami. The worker’s explanation: «it’s ham or salami, not ham AND salami.» Well then somebody please tell me what in the world «ham salami» is!!!
Despite that small confusion, I feel like I can come here and trust them to produce something decent, any time. I’d come back.

My friend and I came into this Subway yesterday, and they were so incredibly kind. Roger, in particular, went out of his way to separately prepared each half of a foot long sub for us to share. Thank you Roger!

This is my favorite subway. Staff is always friendly and it’s very clean. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

I have been going here for a couple of months now and everything had been fine until the last two visits. Looks like they are skimming down on the ingredients. This last time i ordered online I requested more on a couple of ingredients and it was odd that specifically on those ingredients it seemed as though there were less. I asked for guacamole and got a couple slices of avocado. There was a new gentleman in there named Edgar that was pretty snarky. I waited next to the cashier for 3 customers to go by until Edgar finally addressed that I was there and gave me my sandwiches that were sitting there the whole time ready to go. So I went and sat down to eat and saw everything that I noted above. I went back to Edgar and asked for some sriracha on the side because it was basically non-​existent on my sandwich. He then paced around a little and cleaned off some stuff then responded and said sure… While he looked at his coworker and smirked at each other. He then proceeded to give me one small squirt of sriracha. Won’t be going there again…

Not sure what happened to the regular staff that was here, but today my «Sandwich Artist» must have gotten his degree as a finger painter and mentored by a toddler.
I don’t want to name names, but this employee was clearly new. As he was making my sandwich, his hands were visibly shaking as he was putting together my sandwich. I was scared he was going to lose a finger in my sandwich as he handled the knife. It took him 10 minutes to make my footlong. I’ve NEVER been in line that long in any Subway. And then at the end when he was trying to wrap it, he used his gloved hands to smash the contents down. WHO DOES THAT? He then proceeds to use the same gloves to hand me the bag, which is now covered in mayo, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar.
Management needs to train this guy a bit more before they put him out there. I’m lucky I came in early. Lunch rush starts around 11:30am and I hope they don’t have him on the line, otherwise there will be some angry customers.

Just had a meal at this Irvine location and was overcharged by Edgar who was extremely rude and when confronted him with the overcharge, he became even worse and called me stupid!!! Can’t believe they treat their customers in this fashion. I think he should be fired before victimizing another customer. Unbelievable

Came here post interview and got a chicken sandwich with no mayo and extra banana peppers it was really good and I hope to come here again.

At this subway location I’ve always had good experience but lately the quality of their food has gone down! And also found hair in my sandwich!!!

This is the best Subway I’ve been to in Orange County. The manager is very friendly and delivers excellent customer service. My food is always made precisely how I like it. The atmosphere is very warm and the employees are quick to acknowledge every customer that walks in. Wish I could say the same about other Subways.

As far as Subways are concerned, this one is mediocre. There is limited indoor seating, no outdoor seating, service is slooow and it is generally just a depressing place to get a sandwich.

This is by far the best Subway in OC. I used to go here daily and have never had a complaint or issue. The owners work there all the time and really take pride in their store and product. Quick service, fresh food, and clean store.

Subway is subway right? $ 5 sandwiches blah blah but this location has a commitment to service with 4 sandwich makers and 1 cashier during lunch. Inside is a little smaller than most and the restroom is always clean.

Nothing special about this Subway. The person making my sandwich was nice and the place looked clean. Although I feel my sandwich wasn’t cooked very thoroughly. I go here to eat a couple times a month so I don’t think it happens regularly.

Possibly the best-​looking and best-​maintained Subway I’ve ever been to. Completely remodeled and squeaky clean every time I go in. The staff is super friendly and works very quickly. They pack and wrap the sandwiches cleanly as well which is always nice. Their items are always fresh, noticeably more fresh than other Subways I’ve been to, and the vegetables look like they were just put out. Lunch time gets crowded but get there a bit early or later and you’ll have no problems at all. Flatbread, Buffalo Chicken + Siriacha + Chipotle Sauce is the reason I go: D

This Subway always has the freshest ingredients and better sandwich artists than most of the chains. The service is good too. If you’re going to eat at Subway, this one is your best bet!

Litterally the worst subway I have ever been to, I go have been to lots because I love subway.
I have only been for breakfast, so I don’t know about other time of day.
The employees are LITTERALLY mean. Not only are they dismissive, don’t say hello or goodbye, but they act like you are a horrible person just for entering their place of business.
I also saw and employee sneeze into their hand and not change gloves before continuing to work.
Avoid at all costs!

Service:
I work a mile away from this Subway location and visit this place very often. It’s probably one of the best Subways I have ever been to. It gets very busy during lunchtime but the staff is well-​trained, and they prepare your food very quickly.
Cleanliness:
This place is pretty clean.

Not really a special subway in my opinion, but I haven’t had many problems with them before.
Out of around lets say… 20+ visits here (since I go to the church nearby), I did get sick once from the tuna (I’m guessing they accidentally left it uncovered, and thus is the story of why I never order tuna again), but all the other times, they were pretty quick and friendly.
Always be on the look out for the best month for $ 5 footlongs :]!
