I came to this location late on a Tuesday night and much to my surprise and delight, a familiar face greeted me!
I had a fantastic experience with Quyen at a different location some months back and was pleasantly surprised to see her working at this location!
The haircut, as usual, was excellent. Her delightful conversation and fantastic demeanor really made the time fly.
Another 5 star experience!
In the future, I will make it a point to see Quyen for my hair cuts, wherever she is working!
Thanks again, Quyen! You’re the best!

Charming hair cutting spot. I enjoyed my cut — I don’t watch sports really at all. and neither did my cosmetologist. But that’s ok. We had a pleasant conversation about podcasts and why college athletes deserve to get paid, college tuition etc. Solid cut.

Great experience. I took my almost 3 year old son here for a haircut. The wait wasn’t too long for beings call in just a few minutes before.
They were extremely friendly.
Verenis cut his hair, she was great, asked him about his toys and made him feel really comfortable.
She gave him the cut I asked for, a really nice undercut. It was done pretty quick as well so he didn’t have trouble sitting still for the whole cut, she kept him distracted and happy about the whole experience.
He even got a sucker at the end of the haircut.
Great experience! I will be bringing him back for sure!

I’ve tried countless hair cutting spots in the irvine area and this place by far is one of the best ones. I always get cut by TRACIE! She’s super friendly and a talented barber. She’s one of the few people that I can trust to always give me a good clean haircut, you can tell that she puts more time in to your cut vs other barbers and stores. I haven’t once gotten a bad haircut from her and I will be returning within the month!

Unfortunately, their best stylist, Ginger, is no longer working at this unity. I had my cut today with one of their other stylists, and, as I was expecting, the cut was just ok.

What happend? This place now SUCKS! Do not go there! New staff is incompetent and rude. I called and got negative pushback from the new person that answered the phone. I drove there anyway as I have always had a five star experience. I arrived about 10:40 am, there was one new girl standing behind the counter. No one was getting there hair cut. She was annoyed at me driving there to get my haircut and kept repeating «there will be a 15 minute wait», I repeated «I just called and you said to come on down?» There was no business in this place and I left very disappointed. I won’t be going back and suggest you do the same.

Verenis was my stylist earlier this month. She’s done my hair before, but my timing hasn’t been such that I’ve been able to have her again until now. She is very personable, and an excellent stylist. I highly recommend her. I also highly recommend Sport Clips Haircuts in Irvine on Quail Hill Pkwy as a whole. I’ve received excellent service with whomever does my hair.

I used to take an hour drive to get a haircut, then my partner recommended this place, I started coming here about a year ago. After a couple of haircuts I had one with Ginger and I have been retuning to see her ever since. Ginger is a superb stylist and she’s personable too!
This location is always clean, the staff is friendly and I’ve had good experiences with 2 of the other stylists, but Ginger is definitely my favorite.

Close enough to home that it’s too convenient NOT to go. The girls there are really nice. My son is in sports heaven when we’re there. And, as long as I have my phone with me, I’m not too bored (don’t go looking for women’s magazines to while away the time while you wait for someone to get clipped).
The big thing is that they don’t treat my 8 year old like a little kid so that makes him feel like he has more of a say in his haircut (he really doesn’t) which makes the entire experience easier on everyone. And, because it doesn’t feel like Hooters (like some other men’s salons that feel more like a bikini bar than a hair salon), I am more comfortable taking him there. Great job, guys. You have a fan!

Been coming to this Sport Clips every six weeks for a couple of years now. Their prices are reasonable and their season pass deal (where you pre-​purchase six haircuts for a discount) makes them positively affordable.
I always call ahead to make sure to get my favorite stylist: Ginger. I can’t recommend Ginger too much. She’s the sort of barber you keep coming back to because she gets everything right — she’s attentive, skilled, good-​natured, and has a great memory.
Highly recommended.
