Great service, short wait, yummy drinks. Conveniently located and better than starbucks in my opinion!

I prefer this Peet’s location over any Starbucks on campus. It has this cozy feel to it when you walk in, unlike the corporate feel you get when you walk into a Starbucks. The only downside is that there is never any room to sit inside because it’s so busy, so I usually grab my drink and head outside to the outdoor seating.

I like this coffee place, it is conveniently located, although parking can be tough at times since there is a trader joes right next door, the staff are friendly and the shop is well maintained, there is a great atmosphere and plenty of seating both inside and out even though the shop itself is not quite that large, beverages are as you’d come to expect from peet’s, above average.

Peet’s is the best coffee around. This location is great because there is plenty of outdoor seating in the courtyard area, away from streets and the parking lot. WiFi is a bit plus as well.

This is my favorite Peet’s location. The servers are good, knowledgeable and always friendly. The coffee is always great(this is a Peet’s stand alone location). Five stars!

Well, it’s on campus and it has seating. There’s not a ton of competition other than Starbucks, so they get a pretty decent throng of people. It’s always busy. I will say the internet speed is usually okay, and the coffee and tea is average for this particular chain. I’ll go back again for convenience more than quality.

Just went to this peets for a cup of black coffee– the Colombia light roast is so excellent and Ethan hooked it up for me with the perfect amount of ice to make it drinkable immediately! Great experience over all

Despite it being constantly busy, with your business crowd, tourist crowd, and the student crowd of course; the staff is always friendly and prompt. These baristas sure know what’s up! The bakery case always looks great!

I love Peets. They’re always consistent with their coffees and teas. I come here to study, to relax, to read, to write, to temporarily escape from reality, and last but not least, the amazing cold brew, americanos, matcha green tea latte, mighty leaf teas, lattes, javivas, and pretty much everything. I’ve literally tried everything on the menu(my regular is usually cold brew or hot americanos). Oh yeah, the chocolate croissants are delicious. They can’t warm them up but they don’t need to be warmed up because they are simply scrumptious and divine. Consistent, quality drinks and snacks. They open early and close late, too! The only dilemma, if there chooses to be one, is that it’s almost always packed throughout the day and it often becomes quite challenging to find seats. Oh well, plenty of seating outside if anything! Don’t sweat too much. Thanks, Peets!

Furnitures are old and uncomfortable. If someone sits, everybody shakes so badly. customer service isn’t very friendly. The manager is awesome.

This is the best & only place to get the best flat whites(not on the menu) due to the male barista making it is knowledgeable & amazing! Every itehr Peet’s location in OC around here still dont know what flat whites are and when i try tell them how to make it, it comes out bland or weird like watered down coffee and milk.

This was my first visit in Peet’s Coffee and certainly my last. Came into this establishment out of a whim, since Starbucks was a mile away. It was early, I needed my daily dose of coffee and I was famish. Here I was, eager to start my day with nice breakfast and a hot coffee, but boy was I disappointed. I ordered one medium coffee and two danishes, I asked the server if she could warm my danishes, since it has been sitting in the display counter for a certain amount of time. She responded; «We don’t warm anything here». This has left me disgusted! Because the last time I checked we are not living under a rock and that a microwave should be at least available. Not mentioning that this is a violation of health code. Fortunately the coffee was not bad, hence the one star. The danish on the other hand, well it’s cold. Since I’m the type that doesn’t settle for less, so I threw the danishes away. This place is bafflingly inconsiderate and awful.

1st time ever trying peets coffee and I was not impresssed. I got a blended caramel coffee which tasted outrageously sweet. gross! And I got an iced coffee for my coworker which literally tasted like black strong plain coffee with ice. I was highly disappointed and won’t ever go back. sad to say McDonald’s mccafe coffees taste ways better! Oh and the two starts are for the employee who took my order as he was very generous and helpful :)

I’m usually a Starbucks regular but Peets is pretty good ! The brew is a bit stronger in flavor than Starbucks. I usually prefer a milder taste but my mom LOVES the hot coffee here and I have to say, trying their vanilla iced coffee on a whim was pretty good :) a little on the sweet side(which is fine for me) but they’ll of course adjust it ! The environment is pretty chill, for lack of a better word. It’s close to UCI so a lot of college students just studying or passing time. But regardless it’s not super loud for music or anything and patrons seem to be just relaxing. Good vibe. Also the staff is really nice ! I told the cashier I don’t usually come here so I wasn’t sure what I wanted but she was really nice and started offering me different items for different tastes. But I chose the iced coffee to play it safe. Not disappointed though! BUT giving 3 stars because the price is about the same as Starbucks for example but they charge extra for all syrups other than classic. Also, they lack plentiful outlets to use. Makes it hard to choose this place as a place to study.

Peet’s coffee oh how much I love your dark roasts. I’ve been coming to this Peet’s coffee for over a year now and I must say that I have yet to have a bad experience. Peet’s coffee has found a very special place in my heart as the one coffee shop that never ceases to deliver quality cup after cup. The perfect balance of the proper water temperature, coffee ground size and brew time produces an absolutely delectable full body cup of coffee. One of the noticeable differences I should note about my experiences with Peet’s coffee as well as their espresso is the complete absence of a headache post caffeine come down. I am assuming this is related to the roasting techniques as well as any potential impurities or preservatives that are used with other coffee brands. This Peet’s coffee is nicely situated at the forefront of the University Town Center(UTC) nearby UCI which lends itself to an exam cramming hot spot. With their complimentary Wi-Fi, comfortable cozy interior, and spot on caffeinated beverages one could wonder how you would ever leave. Hungry? No worries, they have you covered with somewhat reasonably priced pastries that are always fresh and well varied. I have recently found myself addicted beyond belief to their tri-berry scone. Two moist sweet slices of scone bread sandwiching a well-balanced combination of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. The tri-berry scone has indeed become my new favorite morning ritual that will drive me to bankruptcy until I learn how to bake them for myself(working on it). Would I recommend Peet’s coffee? Most definitely Yes. Even for their frou frou drinks ;) Would I suggest you try other coffee shops to see what fits your mind, heart and soul? Yes of course, that would be incredibly rude of me to impose my coffee snob opinion on you without you having a fair judgment call. I will say this this much though, after surveying the lot of various coffee shops you won’t find much better value for the quality that Peet’s coffee has to offer.

+ Two areas to order at(one was open when I came) and separate area for pick up. + Mostly hard tables and chairs, but I guess that’s good if you’re a student and you have a laptop. There were a few slightly comfier chairs. + About 15 table inside, most suitable for two chairs. + Outdoor seating, too. + Pastries, coffee and tea. I don’t drink coffee so can’t comment there, but the green tea latte was nice and light, and they also do a bold Earl Grey tea.

Such a nice contrast from the local Starbucks. I always favor Peets because you can taste the roast better and their coffees seem stronger, as opposed to Starbucks’ watered-down sugary drinks. I most especially love Peets’ Cappuccinos on especially colder days, as it hits the spot and delivers the right amount of warmth and perk. The froth of the steamed milk is felt. My go-to’s are usually an Iced Caramel Macchiato(if my sweet tooth permits) or the classic Iced Latte Macchiato for a stronger and less-sweet roast. I love how you can almost taste the espresso bean in their espresso. Their coffees are blended well and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Lovely vibe and not frantic like your local Starbucks!
