Panda Express

After a longtime we think to give this place one more try.
It is better then before. It has improve a lot and I would defiantly come here again! The noodles were good and so was the fried rice and Kung pao chicken which was what I got. The workers were friendly too! Would recommend to others

Turned me away a half hour before closing when there was only a couple things left to choose from, they said pick from what’s left or leave. So disappointing

I love eating orange chicken at Panda. It’s the only thing I get. But I don’t like the staff holding the inside of the box with their thumb with no gloves. They should either wear gloves or have their hand hold the box underneath. This was the comment I left for them on their survey many times but no change… So lose 1 star on that.

If I could give it less stars I would. Closed early, BEFORE posted closing time. Then the guys behind the counter copped an attitude with me when I asked if they were closed. When I went to leave through one door they yell that it’s locked and made me walk to the other exit, then mumbled under their breath (OBVIOUSLY ANNOYED) while I walked across the floor. Not happy.

Food is as good as any other location. My reason for the single star is that every time I’ve gone here it is freezing inside, and I actually love cold weather. But I don’t like eating inside a Panda Express igloo.

White rice, honey walnut shrimp, and honey sea same chicken breast is quite a satisfying combination.
This location is in the 99 ranch market plaza. Service is okay — the older Asian lady who was working looked like she hated life, asking each customer «what you want?» This isn’t dim sum, this is panda! Bu the other employees made up for her attitude.
Everyone says panda food sucks, but there’s always a decent sized line for it.
2 item plate is a bit pricey — they should try to reduce it to keep up with all the other stores that are popping up and offering new deliverables to order food like the «make it your own way pizza» for a lower price.

If i could give them negative stars, i’d do it.
when you are craving fake chinese food and there isn’t another place around and you just dont have cash on you to buy real chinese food, against better judgement and knowing full well i was not going to be happy, i bought panda anyways.
they are super stingy here, they fluff the noodles and rice to make it look like they give you enough but you always run out because their entrees are too salty and too sweet. its like they try extra hard to be stingy.
do yourself a favor, don’t eat panda.

Visiting around 11am 11÷3÷15. Lady was very kind the whole this restaurant in Irvine very kind here is different

Can’t believe at 8pm Tuesday night they stopped cooking new dishes and tried to sell leftover even it was dried and gross.
I request them to cook something fresh and I can see the Asian lady was upset. Come on, we are customers. Without us you won’t have a business. May they are deserved to have no business.
Bad good and bad service. Can’t be worse.

Orange chicken wasn’t even edible. It was really hard. I wish I didn’t take it to go. I would’ve asked for my money back. The staff was really nice though!

So this location can be a hit or miss depending on the employees. Mostly they are super stingy with portion size. I think the Asian lady is the worst but the other women that work there are equally stingy. So if any of these people are serving you when you come in then you might still be hungry after your meal. Once in a while you get lucky and the server actually gives you a decent amount of food. It’s rare at this location but it can happen. I’ve come in during both lunch and dinner time and sometimes their trays are mostly empty with lukewarm or dried out food. They will still serve that crap to you though. I’m kind of amazed that this location can be this stingy and lacking since you can just walk around the corner to Sam Woo and for less money get way more food then you know what to do with.

Food is not that good and price is little to high for the quality of food they have …

This panda is pretty average. I always go at really weird hours so there’s never any line. They’ve never run out of anything I’m used to ordering (broccoli beef, orange chicken, chow mein, steamed rice).
It’s an open kitchen and it seems to be pretty clean whenever I’m there. The staff is actually really friendly. Sometimes it seems like they might need an extra hand or two. The most I’ve seen there was 3 – 4 employees in the whole entire place.
Other than that, it’s a pretty normal Panda Express.

Food was typical Panda. It was alright. I’d give it 3 – 4 stars considering it’s fast food.
The service of this place is terrible, however. Either more employees need to be hired or the current people need to be trained better. On just my last experience, I went in around dinner time and the line was literally out the door. It took me standing in line 20 minutes JUST to reach the counter (yes, I timed it). All the while, one lady is working at taking orders and another is at the register. Just two people for a line that large? Some other younger gal with glasses was sitting at the soda fountain filling up her water bottle and dumping it out over and over again. Then she’d kick back and stand there while sipping on it. Sure, maybe she was on her break but employees should really be taking breaks out of sight because to me, she just seemed to be avoiding work. Speaking of which, when she decided to actually do something, she just casually swept the floors as opposed to helping with the apparent «rush» that was happening. She didn’t go behind the counter until minute 17 of my 20 minute line wait. During this experience, they offered every single person a sample. I understand pushing new product but there’s an appropriate time to do that. Also, if you’re a customer, don’t stand there and gobble down your samples when there are fifteen impatient hungry people behind you. This is not the first time this has happened and it’s one of those moments that I’d love someone from corporate to have to experience.
I usually stick to the deliciousness and fast service from the Carl’s on Barranca by the Woodbridge Center which I will never doubt again because my disloyalty to that fine establishment caused me to have this terrible experience yet again.

If you want to see a real panda, go to San Diago Zoo. I wanted my asian pandaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Yup… I broke my code of either one star or 5…, so ranking a 4 star… the reason, the food was on its «last leg» so to speak. Not fresh at all… BUT the young lady behind the counter asked if we could wait ten minutes for fresh hot food. It was so refreshing to have an employee see the problem (we or any others had pointed it out to her) she had us wait and we were glad to do it… Fresh, hot food… And not because we mentioned it but because this stellar lady knew it was the RIGHT THING TO DO! Thanks Panda!!! Great meal! …ok ok. I just revised my rating to a five and ALL BECAUSE OF THE WONDERFUL GUEST SERVICE!!! Kudos!!!

Ok, for one reason or another I was informed that my last review violated Unilocal guidelines, so this time I will make it short and to the point.
My wife and I were thoroughly disappointed with the entrees we received from your establishment. The Chicken, beef, as well as the Chow Mein was extremely dry and not very pleasant to eat.
I believe Unilocal’s guidelines might consider it a threat for me to say that my wife and I will never eat at your establishment again, so I won’t suggest it.

Horrible service! And they were out of chow mein… The guy was like you want to wait or not just horrible attitude!

Here at 8:15pm. Only one staff at the counter to do everything!
There’s a freaking line. Waiting for 15 minutes!

I usually only go here when there is absolutely nothing to eat at my house.
Service is quick and staff is very friendly.
