Ms Mye is an excellent stylist. She takes meticulous care of each client. Her results are beautiful but plan to spend some time in her salon. She does not rush through any service but you will leave with a beautiful ‘do’.

Mye is so helpful with everything from start to finish. It was so hard to find a hair stylist for african americans in my area. Mye was easy to get in contact with and set aside time for my appointment. Upon arriving unlike many salons she did not have me waiting at all and was not trying to do two or three other people at the same time. She was very helpful about how to keep my hair healthy and very helpful and knowledgable about coloring hair and where to get hair from. Such a nice place, wonderful area. Mye is amazing and im very picky with my hair dressers but i highly recommend her:)

I was so happy to find a salon out in Irvine. Mye gave me the perfect cut and style! She also offered advice about keeping my hair healthy as she was doing it, which I thought was really thoughtful because it seemed like she was noticing my problem areas and teaching me how to prevent them. Overall, I had a great experience and I will be back!

I needed a simple press and style and she did a Great job. I was running late so unfortunately when I got there a client that didn’t confirm their appointment showed and she had long, thick gorgegous hair which delayed my hair for awhile but I didn’t mind since I had cleared my schedule and Mye explained and apologized.

I moved from Philadelphia a few months ago and loved my stylist. I was so afraid of not finding a great stylist in Orange County that I even considered flying back every quarter just to get a great haircut. I know it sounds extreme but when it comes to your hair it’s a game changer and you do what you need to do for a great look. Anyway, I logged onto Unilocal and found Ms Mye. What helped me make the decision to visit her salon was the photos. I made an appointment and she did not disappoint me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair and not to mention Mye is so nice. Her shop is in great condition, her conversation is up building and positive, her techniques are spot on, and she’s very willing and open to hear what you want and to make it happen. I can’t wait for my next salon visit.

Was visiting from NYC and desperately needed my hair done since I didn’t have time to visit a salon before I left. I got so lucky!
I typed in «African American hair salons in Irvine, CA» in Google and about 3 showed up. I checked them all out on Unilocal and called to make appointments. Mye was the most pleasant and was able to squeeze me in on Easter weekend. On top of that, she seems very particular with scheduling, so I didn’t feel rushed or have to wait an hour, everything was smooth sailing.
I had a wash, deep condition, blow dry and straighten. I have natural hair and she had me looking like I had a relaxer or extensions! My hair has never looked this fly or healthy. I wish she could come back home with me to NY.
Definitely would recommend her.

Finally! I’ve been searching for a stylist in S. Orange County for almost 2yrs! Mye specializes in healthy hair and was able to give me a style perfect for work and play! I will be going to her from now on to maintain my short style.

I have been going to Mye for a couple of months and I am so pleased! Mye takes the time to condition and medicate my hair to keep it moisturized and healthy. She uses products that cater to the specific needs of my previously damaged hair. She is also multifaceted. She has worked with my as a natural and straight style. I know that I am in good hands with Mye and I would highly recommend her!

I have been a client of Mye’s for over twenty years! She specializes in various types of extensions, relaxers, short style cuts, and everything else under the sun! I have had her cut my hair in a bob, put long extensions in and do my relaxer! Every single time I have left feeling like a million dollars. She is attentive, patient and very hard working. Not only does she do an excellent job, she is flexible with her schedule and really pays attention to any inconsistency or changes in your hair, keeping if healthy and strong. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to handle my hair :)

Oh… I’m surprised to see that Mye has no reviews! Mye does all types of folks hair, but all I can really comment on is what I know… African-​American hair. I have locs… Sisterlocks to be specific, and Mye does my color. She also colors my daughter’s locs (who now lives in AZ, but still arranges for color with Mye when she visits home). When my daughter was a teen, Mye did her relaxers and high lights and even a very nice full-​head weave around end of senior year/​prom time. If you’re African-​American living in the Irvine area and tired of going to LA to get your hair done, give her a try! She’s very knowledgeable and also cares for the health of your hair.
