They’re continuing to tinker with the café, and the changes I think are worth another star on my review now. Some items have come back to the menu here; perhaps I wasn’t the only one who saw some of their favorites disappear. The staff is still friendly and helpful, but the best trick to know is that you can pay for salad bar and sandwiches at any register; sometimes the line at the«main» checkout can get rather long.

The variety is good, with the sandwich bar being the standout offering! This sandwich bar uses great Boar’s Head deli meat, great toppings, and priced decently for the amount you get. The next best is the salad bar, although I wish that the 1000 Island dressing would return. The fresh bacon and grilled chicken are excellent. The grill is average at best. The french fries tend to be oily and heavy, and the specials always look much better than they taste. For what the grill serves, the prices are high. There is great potential for the grill. I hope it shows up. The Italian section is great because the price for the quality of pizza is very good. Maybe they could offer some garlic knots? The worst part is that I have encountered the use of MSG twice, to which I am allergic(the headaches are terrible and made it nearly impossible to work). It surprised me because I eat there at least twice a week, and it normally never happens. This happened one time with the patty-melt and one time with the croutons for the salad. I now order the patty-melt without added seasoning and avoid the croutons. The croutons were great for a long time and then changed to being very salty. In my experience, MSG tends to make food taste salty. This facility has other food vendors, but they tend to cost more while giving you less food. Also, the other food vendors don’t give you options for making your own sandwich or salad, and tend to be less fresh. The service is always friendly — whether it’s ordering or checkout, everyone seems glad to see you.

Here is good for lunch. Western Digital HQ, St. Joseph Office, Travelers Insurance, State Farm etc. surround this place. Therefore, lots of office workers are having lunch here. You can choose Hamburger, Fried Rice, Pizza, Salad, Sandwich, Ramen, Pasta etc. Do you know how Bill Gates could supply DOS to IBM? Because his mother was working at IBM as a director. She introduced him to sr. Management, so Bill Gates could have good relationship and then he could sell his software to IBM. You can build a good relationship at the meeting places where you can meet good people. Market Café at Park Place is decorated with modern style. There is a big screen to watch TV, so you can enjoy watching sports or news while you are eating Lunch. Also, outside landscaping is good, so you can enjoy your lunch at outside.

Cafeteria style. Extremely overpriced for the amount/quality of food you get. Do not visit the salad bar-it’s incredibly expensive for average tasting foods. You can get a better quality at panini across the way and/or the counter for around the same price but much greater quality. Busy during the week as it is in the center of a business complex.

I came here for lunch with a friend. It’s located in the center of a business complex and at a hidden lower level. It is darn near impossible for the general public to find. You either have to know it is there or have someone show you. It’s actually a large cafeteria/food court type of place with several counters that serve different types of food(Asian, Pasta & Pizza, Burgers, Sandwiches, etc.). I was told it is owned by the Patina Group. It seemed as though the employees in the surrounding business high rises were the clientele. I opted to go to the N + S Express Grill counter. They had burgers, BLTs, grilled cheese… that sort of thing. I ordered a french dip sandwich with fries and a soft drink. My french dip was excellent. The bread was fresh and held up well when dipped into the au jus or tame horseradish sauce provided. It was a little light on meat; I would have liked a bit more piled on. But what was there was very tasty. The fries were very good and bountiful. This most definitely is not a destination place but if you lived or worked nearby it’s a great choice for lunch… if you can find it!

So I originally wrote this review for C + M Café thinking this was the right spot, but turns out it is a completely separate place(separate building AND wrong business name. WHOOPSIES)!! I kept wondering why people kept talking about breakfast burritos.ANYHOO. **Just to clarify — This review is for the«Market Café Coffee Kiosk» which is part of «The Market Café at Park Place» even though it is in a different building.** I was pleasantly surprised to find such a cute little hidden gem in a large corporate building! I’m lucky enough to have my client here, so imagine my surprise when the building café turned out to be quite legit! «Legit» as in «quite good» and not«quite good for a building café», but actually good good… :) The baristas here are super nice and friendly. During the morning rush, the wait is a little longer. but not any longer than any other café. My beverage was left out of the queue the second time I came here, and the barista noticed rather quickly and made sure I received my latte next. She also saw me holding my packets of sugar and let me put it in the cup before they added the milk… very observant, sweet, and thoughtful. and it saved the environment from the stir-stick I would’ve used otherwise! :) Decent selection of pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I tried their cheese danish and it didn’t blow me out of the water, but it definitely was good for tiding me over until lunch! They also have cupcakes here too that I’ve been meaning to try! I do love ‘em cupcakes… Will definitely be my go-to morning coffee spot for as long as I’m working in the building!

This is a great option if you work in the office building and are looking for something quick and easy. They have pre-made sandwiches you can grab and go. Try to get there before 12 if you want to avoid the checkout line. I lost my id badge for work and Eric S went out of his way to help me look for it and asked all the various food stations if they had seen my badge. Very friendly and helpful guy! The burrito bowls are awesome, I wish discovered them sooner. It’s like chipotle but better and more food for $ 9 its enough for 2 or 3 meals.

went to the burger stall and the burgers were DELICIOUS… patty was cooked perfectly buns perfectly toasted… fresh veggies everything was great. but the service was laccccccking. I ordered 2 burgers with fries and even after I asked they didn’t give me the 8.99 $ deal with the soda and instead charged be individually so I ended up paying $ 21…hmm no. so when I asked the cashier about it she gave me a difficult time. while waiting for food with my coworkers I saw her talking with 3 other employees pointing at me and that’s when another employee handed me 2 cups for Soda and told me to enjoy it and not worry about it… ok THATS better then nothing but girlfriend I want my money back… that’s a load of Bull. they also forgot my coworkers bacon that she had paid extra for… ugh if the food wasn’t THAT good this place would be a 2 star but man… im drooling just thinking about it!

In short, Meh. Generally speaking it is a little pricey but considering the convenience factor it makes sense. In a pinch or just lazy this place will work. The pasta place is not good. Pasta is over cooked and bland. Don’t get me started on the pizza, horrid. But I am a pizza snob so others may enjoy it. I have never tried the asian place mainly because I have heard nothing good about it and with those prices it was not something I was willing to risk. As for the grill place. It is decent. The burgers are okay but the fries are typically over cooked and hard. However, one day I tired a hame and cheese. Seems simple enough, right? I mean how can you possibly mess up a grilled ham & cheese sandwhich? Well let me tell you how that can be done. Make a grilled cheese sandwhich and toss in some cold ungrilled ham in the middle and that is exactly how you can mess up a grilled ham & cheese. The regular grilled cheese is meh, no seasoning and rather bland even for a grilled cheese. Now where I have been able to find great success in this place is the sandwhich dude. This is where I have yet to be disappointed(well, except when they ran out of my bread yesterday). The dude making your sandwhich really cares and does a great job. The quality of meats and breads are great and worth the price they charge, which is not horrible. So, if in a pinch and just plain lazy to go anywhere else then you safest bet is the sandwhich dude or salad bar. Otherwise, I would not recommend much beyod that. If you are craving a burger then take the extra 5 minutes and walk over to The Counter, WAY better burgers and fries that and about the same price.

The sandwich station at the Market Café is always great! Skylar(the sandwich dude) takes great care in preparing my sandwiches; this is a must try if you work at Park Place. All sandwiches are made with Boar’s Head premium deli meat and the produce is prepared fresh daily. For the price and quality, it can’t be beat. Be sure to grab a bag of the fresh made potato or taro chips.

Summary: Modern food court with big screen TV in the basement of Park Place business complex. Convenient for people who work nearby, but not worth coming if you work further away. Good: Walk to lunch to save time and gasoline. Reasonable price and fast service. Bad: Uneven food quality. This food court has 5 vendors. See below to choose wisely. Recommended: * N+S Express Grill earned my 4 stars for made-to-order burger, Philly cheese steak, fish and chips, and garlic fries. * C + M coffee and milk is ok, but it costs about the same as real Starbucks across the street Not recommended: I give the other vendors 2 stars for trying hard. * Cucina & Co. suffers from typical food court syndromes of prebaked pizzas and overcooked pastas. * Ginger Trail is more like a trial. Chicken needs more teriyaki sauce, and rice needs more water, but still edible. I ventured to tuna tartare on taco crisp, but please don’t. * Salad bar does not get enough traffic, so selections are limited. If you prefers healthy food, please try Mother’s Market or Wahoo’s Fish Tacos across the street.

Imagine a cafeteria with a modern bistro feel serving eclectic and gourmet food. They have recently renovated this place and it’s impressive how huge the improvements are. Trust me, if we can find before and after pictures, you’ll be amazed. The Patina Group runs this place like other restaurants you are probably familiar with. Pinot Provence, Leatherby’s Café Rouge, Catal Restaurant, Uva Bar & Café, and Tortilla Jo’s are just to name a few. With that said, my expectations are quite high for this café. They have stations that vary from pizza and pasta, grilled items like hot dogs and burgers, soup and salad, sandwiches and wraps, as well as an Asian corner. They recently came up with their Wellness menu for the health conscious people, too so you can really see quite a spectrum of food choices to decide upon. Being a jack of all trades, it’s sad to say that they are a master of none. Most of these meals will cost you about $ 10. They make your meals as you order or let me rephrase that… they heat up your food as you order and pack it up in white to-go boxes that rarely close or fasten. It could take a while for your food to be ready depending on how many people are ahead of you so it really is not as quick as you will hope it to be. You can pay as you order per station or order on your way out at the register by the exit. Your choice. I had their shrimp scampi with orzo pasta and a side of grilled vegetables. Everything was nicely seasoned except for the vegetables which had too much salt. The serving size was appropriate for the price I paid but I didn’t finish my pasta after finding a pool of oil at the bottom. I’ve also had their Asian food which I must warn you, stay away! Their blue cheese burger on the other hand is my go-to when I can’t find anything else that looks appetizing to me. If anything, I guess it’s your safest bet when you’re here. Would I come back? Since I’m at Park Place five days a week, the convenience of its location will be the reason why I will.

lets keep this one simple, because well there’s nothing special about this place. Its over-priced. Pretty much everything in this place costs $ 10 Salad $ 8 – 10 Pizza $ 8 – 10 some bland vietnamese dish, teriyaki chicken, sandwich, pasta, yeah $ 10 Every seems to just taste the same, all bland. You could probably blind taste test the customers and feed them the vietnamese dish, the pasta, & the teriyaki and people would not likely be able to tell them apart. Want it to go? guess what, its gonna come in an inconvenient bucket type box. Pizza folded into a bucket. Pasta in a bucket fries and burger in a bucket. Hey guys, ONESIZEDOESNOTFITALL. Also, DONOTGOTHEREFORBREAKFAST. its pre-cooked, then cooled down, then reheated breakfast burritos & mcmuffin style breakfast sandwiches. AWFUL.

I rarely venture to Market Café unless I am too busy to go out for lunch. This review is for the main café. I ordered today’s special from their Asian counter(Ginger Trail). It’s BBQ short ribs, white rice, and kimchi for $ 8.99. It looked pretty good from the sample so my friend and I ordered the same thing. She asked for her ribs to be well done. Mine was just a regular order. I also ordered sweet potato fries($ 2.79) from N&S express and red velvet cupcake($ 1.95). I didn’t expect my meat to be so red. I know it’s not well done but this was more like rare. My friend’s order was not much better. It should be well done but still very red as well. I also wanted to mention how they marinated the ribs. They’re too salty. Too much salt and not marinated evenly. Some part was too salty and others were not enough. How hard can it be to marinate Korean short ribs? I always buy the sauce at either @ H-mart or AR grocery stores and marinate between 4 – 6 hours. Overall, I should have gone out to lunch instead of walking downstairs for food. No wonder I have not been to this place for such a long time. It’s a reminder not to do it again anytime soon. The sweet potato fries and red velvet cupcake rescued their rating. Otherwise, I would have given it 1 star.

This is definitely a HIDDEN gem. A gourmet grab and go! Nestled within two large office buildings is where the Patina Group«has re-imagined the idea of workday cuisine.» Located next to the insanity which houses Wahoos, CPK, Mother’s Market and other stores and restaurants. Specialty cuisine and three live action chef kiosks. You have your choice of: *Gourmet burgers from Nick + Stef Express Grill *Chef made pizzas and pastas from Cucina & Co. Here’s mine Pasta bolognese — $ 7.99 — al dente pasta with freshly grated parmesan and chili flakes on the counter where you can go hog wild and make it as spicy and cheesy as you want. Enjoyed this dish. *Healthy soups(I saw phở yesterday) and stir fry from Ginger Trail *Customize your sandwich and with choices from Boar’s Head deli meats, spreads, cheeses, toppings, and more. *Health conscious? Try the chop and toss’ fresh produce bar and soups that are made fresh daily. Seating — Dining area *Got sweet tooth? Try the pastries from C+M(Coffee and Milk) They have direct trade Intelligentsia coffee and espresso for your afternoon pick me up! Interior shots Food — 5 Stars — My pasta bolognese was quite tasty and flavorful Layout — 5 Stars — Easy to manuever and order what you like Beverage area — 5 Stars — clean and well organized with a variety of soft drinks. Cashiers — 5 Stars — Friendly, helpful and informative It is located in the parking lot next to CPK, not in the same strip mall, over by Western Digital.
