Michael handled my divorce and I honestly had the best experience with him. At times he’s very quick and to the point and other times he takes the time to really listen to what you want, lawyers in general are very busy but he’s great at responding to emails and texts. I am very pleased with how he handled my divorce (not so pleased by my poor judgement of insisting on being nice and «fair» with my ex). As soon as the divorce was final (like within a week) my ex decided to get a lawyer for joint custody for «immigration purposes» (WHATEVER!) he clearly intentionally waited until the divorce was final since I had so kindly agreed to an amount of child support below the guild line and also declined alimony… moral of the story folks is don’t try to be overly civil with your ex or you’ll get screwed. Soooo… now I’ve hired Michael again to deal with this case and so far he’s been fantastic, guiding me when I want to be impulsive and make poor decisions. I feel Michael is extremely ethical and this I love about him. I tend to be an anxious person so I always assume the worst when I don’t get an immediate response so if you’re like me do not worry, just because you don’t receive an immediate reply from time to time doesn’t mean he has forgotten about you. I know in my case I had very detailed emails and he took the time to reply basically saying he wanted to process everything I had concerns about before giving instant advice. Highly recommended!

Michael explained clearly and thoroughly on the divorced process and all of the difference terminology. My ex and I have decided that we will not go after each other assets; therefore, it would be a simple divorced. Michael only charged me a normal flat rate (I checked other lawyer rates, most divorced lawyers have the same rate).
I feel very fortunate to find him and glad that my ex’s lawyer charged him so much money for every meetings and every revision that they have to make. They made a mistake in the final paper and Michael insisted that they have to fix it. Of course, they charge my ex money even though it was their mistake.
I highly recommend Michael if you in need of a lawyer.

They don’t allow us to even speak a few minutes to discuss our cases. They only talk to us in person at their office which is only open from 9 – 5, closed on weekend. Eviction process needs to start timely and timing matters to the landlords. Not helpful and not personable, they don’t seem to care to obtain new clients nor care at all in helping us, really disappointed.

Michael represented me on my prenuptial agreement. The process was streamlined and he communicated with my future husband’s attorney to facilitate completion.
As a next step, we are seeking legal counsel to assist with a trust and a will. Mike was very willing to share references, without requesting the work for himself.

I can’t describe how happy I am that I found Michael. I had a slip and fall in a restaurant and he was so amazing helping me and explaining everything along the way. I used this attorney for my divorce process and i lost terribly (i have to pay a ridiculous amount of alimony) Yes michael is approachable and nice but he did not seem to know my case very well. I did not feel confident in him representing me. It is frustrating that i listened to most of the review here at Unilocal but the reality is far from these reviews. I would rather have a not nice lawyer but make sure that she will fight for me and knows what she is talking about. I give Michael o’young a 1 star because i can text him and get response almost right away and he ask for lesser retainers fee. But then again, i learned my lesson that a nice/​attentive lawyer does not mean he /​she will be my best bet for a complicated divorce process.

Very pleased to work with Micheal. Highly recommend him. I wanted to file a restrain order, he gave me reasonable price. He met me 3 times before the court hearing. I was here by myself so I asked him if that’s ok if I go with him to the court. He agreed, Helped me so much during the court. The case being handled to the best of my interests. I just met with this lawyer group. I saw his response and decided to try again. I called and got a lunch appt on the same day. I met with Michael O’Young. I asked in-​depth questions about the case and feel that he has a good handle on the direction that the case will go in if we have to pursue it. He has a very prompt, professional engaging demeanor. I felt very comfortable and assured that they know what they’re doing. I’m only waiting for the mediation letter to expire and I’m confident that these guys will win my case.

Bryan is one of the most reliable lawyers out there! I had a DUI case near the end of Nov 2013 and I wish I found him on Unilocal earlier within the 10 days of my arrest. What differentiates him is his service and willingness to spend time and help people. He even helps with things that I don’t even pay him for. And if you are on a tight budget, he is willing to work with you according to your budget as well. You won’t find a lot of lawyers that are willing to go above and beyond like that. he went to court for with me and helped me navigate the whole judicial jungle, and spoke for my behalf to the DA and Judge. He helped me reduce my court fees significantly and I was able to leave court without a DUI! He can also take care of business legal matters as well and is currently assisting me with my business exit strategy. He is hands down my go to lawyer now! Most reliable, quickest service, and best in town!!! That’s what differentiates different lawyers.

I have no idea what he is talking about, It’s just funny how Unilocal has some of these people that give out 1 star and bad reviews for no reason or out of the blue. I hired Michael O’Young to help me with a personal injury case. It was a pleasure working with him and his firm throughout the process. Michael was always very professional and responsive. He provided great service and it was clear to me that he makes his clients his top priority.

I got into an accident without having insurance and few months later, the insurance company’s from the other party suggested I pay for the property damages.
