Initially, I walked into Mr Ashkan Yekrangi’s office out of pure desperation. After hearing countless horror stories about hard-​working immigrants getting unjustly deported after being subjected to lengthy court procedures and paying an arm and a leg in attorney’s fees, I was reluctant to surrender myself to this treatment.
However, in my initial consultation with him, I found myself feeling pleasantly surprised. He was very kind and sympathetic to my situation, and I left that meeting still feeling nervous, but surprisingly optimistic about the outcome of my case.
