The best donuts I’ve ever had! I love cake donuts and these were the best one’s i’ve ever had. Truly amazing and super cheap. I love this place.

These donuts are so yummy! I love donuts and have tried many. So trust me on this one. My favorite donut shop is Donut Bar in San Diego, but Janny’s is a close second. Their dough is the best! In the end, it doesn’t matter what decorations are on the donut, the size, the colors… It’s the taste and the texture. This place is a hidden gem!

I have been wanting to come here forever and am actually in the area all the time, just always after they close which is at 1 pm, I sure wish they were open later and i would be able to indulge way more often.
Service was great, I love that they fill the cronuts to order, you chose your filling and they get it ready for you in a flash for just a couple cents more!
Great selection, I loved not only the cronuts (I chose apple pie as well as nutella with cream filling) but also the over sized cinnamon twist and bear claw, so fresh and soft, amazing flavors, some of the best donuts I have had in awhile!
Location is small, but the selection was great, even shortly before closing, plan on taking them to go as the store only has a few tables and is pretty simple.
Easy parking and fair prices, I cannot wait to be back for more!

$ 9.75 for a dozen donuts. I bring it to work once a week and it gets polished off in no time. Large and fluffy donuts at a great price. Like others have said get their early for a better selection. I don’t think they keep making the donuts throughout the day, or at least not hourly or anything. Got there at 10am one time and wasn’t much of a selection but that’s my fault for coming so late to a donut shop, smokie took all the good ones already. Glazed blueberry, regular glazed and chocolate glazed are my fav. Blows dunkin donuts out of the water.

I love Janny’s donuts. The sugar cinnamon donut is a must try-​however the BEST CRONUT I’ve had is her Maple Bacon Cronut! Too good for words! The maple falls through the center and each bite (not just the top layer like others I’ve tried) has maple! Plus her chunks of bacon are big which is also better than I’ve had at other places (just little specs).
You must try her soft, flaky cronuts! 5 Star all the way!

Great little shop. Very friendly staff. Their breakfast sandwiches are great but do yourself a favor and get a kronut! The chocolate frosted one with pudding is the best!

Best Donuts Ever!!! Everyone there is so Friendly. They have some Awesome ham, egg cheese sandwiches.

Simply a mouthwatering experience even before sinking our teeths into their beautifully looking case full of everything a kid with a massive sweeth tooth can ever dream of…(run-on, I know).
Both wife and I, had a Cronut each, hers– strawberry Nutella filled and mines– chocolate with custard and whip filled.
When we couldn’t decide if we should do any fillings at all, The sweet young lady that helped us suggest to lightly fill our C-​nuts, to which we replied with a resounding smile.
Finally, we stuffed our mouths right there, on their table with our goodies, then left with a stash of holes, twists, and rolls…

I would sell my soul for their donuts if their donuts weren’t incredibly cheap in the first place.
I always like to describe their donuts to be the bigger, tastier version of a Krispy Kreme donut. I don’t know how they do it, but I’ve never had any donut as soft and delicious as their raised donuts. I’ve also never had any cake donuts as moist and flavorful as Janny’s. Their apple fritters are absolutely massive and their cronuts are superbly made. Heck, even their breakfast croissants are excellent.
My absolute favorite go-​to place that contains some of my favorite guilty pleasure foods. See you at 4 AM when they open.

This place is a total hidden jem. Ran buy to buy some donuts for my co workers and was incredibly surprised and satisfied with what I found. Unique donuts that are fresh flaky and fun! Totally fight the urge daily to stop by (my hips don’t lie when I eat a donut a day)

I ordered 4 dozen doughnuts from Janny’s and they were ready for me right as I pulled up! The lady was so nice and even gave me extra doughnut holes for free! Awesome customer service, great doughnuts. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Small shop with delicious donuts. Like others have said, come early for lots of flavors. Just do it.

I came to this spot after searching for a new Doughnut place! I normally would go to Donut Start on Alton!!! NOT ANYMORE! because of poor customer service, and frankly they just are not nice, and pretend they don’t understand you!
This place is wonderful, you can tell the minute you walk in that you are welcome, from the good morning greetings, to the smiles behind the counter! I came in to purchase two round glazed donuts, but didn’t find one that was iced for what I was looking for. Today is my daughter’s 8^th birthday. I asked if they could put pink icing with sprinkles on two of their glazed donuts, and they said YES!!! :) My daughter was so happy to see them!
The doughnut was amazingly delicious! Very Fluffy, and Fresh! They make small talk and ask questions! Love that!!! We need more businesses like these people!!! Their customers said this is the BEST place every! BEST DONUTS! & he was absolutely correct!!! From the freshness, great customer service. Great Staff, you can tell they are a family business!!! That’s my kind of place!!! :) I will be back!!!

I’ve found my favorite donut place.
Here is some other great news. If you have a dairy allergy, they have donuts with NO DAIRY. How awesome is that. Be sure to ask the owner exactly which ones you can have.
The little glazed ones are so tasty. Best Donut Place in Orange County. Best Donut in Southern California. I hope they stay in business forever and ever.

Quaint little donut shop in a plaza off of Jamboree and Barranca. Janny’s specializes in some amazing donuts — bacon maple, powered cream, and your traditional donuts.
I’m not a huge fan of donuts, but when I am in the mood, I always get the French cruller (strawberry, cherry, chocolate, or plain). The great thing about the cruller’s here are that they’re light and fluffy — yum!
Most of their popular donuts fly fast in the mornings, leaving the traditional donuts which are still yummy. I’m not sure if they refill their case throughout the day but when I go, usually in the later mornings, the case is pretty much empty so if I’m lucky to encounter anymore French crullers, I will wipe them out :)
Call ahead and they’ll place the donuts for you on the side.

I would give this place 4 stars but I deducted 1 star for the poor selection of donuts when u get there after 10am. It seems they don’t make as many donuts as Donut Star.
The strawberry cronut is pretty good. You can wolf it down fairly quickly :)
One thing though, my lady didn’t feel too well after eatting the donuts twice she went there. She thinks it’s too much sugar on their donuts or they use a cheap quality sugar. Don’t know what it is.
In any case, definitely try the strawberry cronut when you’re here.

I recently found this place on Unilocal when I was looking for a highly-​rated donut shop that has cronuts. I love all of their cronuts that I’ve tried so far — cinnamon apple cronuts, cream-​filled chocolate cronuts, and maple (?) bacon cronuts — but my favorite is the cream-​filled cronut with sliced strawberries!
I’ve been to Janny’s Donuts twice and the service has been ok but not superb or amazing. Thus, 4 stars instead of 5. It’d be nice if the employees occasionally put a friendly smile on their face… A little friendly smile goes a long way. I’m definitely coming back for more cronuts, though! :) Oh, and I’ve yet to try their breakfast sandwiches!

I had the maple bacon cronut from Janny’s. It was absolutely, outrageously, decadent and delicious. It was my first foray into cronuts. The cronut was light, with several delicious layers covered in sweet maple icing with fairly large, unctuous, porky pieces of bacon. Sweet and savory on a cronut. Wow!
This could be right up there for one of my designated last meal desserts.

I walked in here, because I was curious to check out what they had inside. I was actually on my way to Mr. Sandwich…
And then I saw it. The old fashioned donut with chocolate frosting. I normally don’t like old fashioned donuts. I don’t like chocolate frosting, but for some reason our eyes locked. It was love at first sight, I tell you. I’m almost positive that I could hear the mice talking and could see the birds doing my chores (get it? Cinderella reference? Because love at first sight? Ugh, shut it, Anna, it’s not funny if you have to explain it)…
Anyway, I purchased it. And walked out. And walked into Mr. Sandwich. Where I proceeded having the hardest time ordering the sandwiches, because while my brain realized that I need my mouth to order, my hands, clearly driven by my heart kept putting the donut into my mouth, prolonging its food-​gasm.
Anyway. Try the freakin’ donut.
