Hair styles by Desiree

I have been going to desiree for 6 years, and i have never once been anything but obsessed with my hair! She does an amazing job and always gives me exactly what i want, and is always willing to recommend new styles and colors if I dont know what i want. She is super sweet and fun to hang out with while getting a beautiful hair style. I highly recommend her!!!

Too many other stylists I went to treated my hair like an «impressionist art» project — but not Des. After 8 years in Orange County, I’ve found someone I’ll follow from salon to salon. Desiree is fun, friendly but most importantly KNOWLEDGABLE. She takes into account what I want compared to what suits my face and «lazy hair care» regimen.
My first visit to her, I wanted a cut and Brazilian blow out; she knew i was going jet skiing the next day and recommended I wait since you can’t wash your hair for a few days after having it. Rather than just doing it and making $, she considered how I would feel stuck with ocean spray in my hair for a few days while the treatment set.
I’ve been to some high end (and low end) places and she is the only stylist who has ever shown me how to style my hair to keep it with that «fresh salon style». She truly loves what she does and is always trying to improve. It shows in work quality.
She was on vacation and I had someone else cut my hair since I had an event coming up. Boy, do I regret it — flyaway, uneven style.
She has a loyal client in me. I’m Unilocaling since I saw she doesn’t have many reviews, which is a shame.
My only criticism is that she moved to a new salon which is a further drive for me, and one of her new colleagues’ attitudes grated me the wrong way. But, that’s not on her.

I recently just had my hair done by Des, and let me tell you it looks so amazing! My hair WAS a serious mess but when Des was finished with it I was amazed. It didn’t even look like my hair, it is so healthy and the color is so vibrant and beautiful! I was so nervous to get my hair done anywhere else because of how bad my hair was but Des was so Excited to give me a hair makeover, She was so confident in fixing the mess i had. I love it, I cant stop playing with it and I get so many compliments. I’m so happy I went to Des!

I get my hair done by Des and all I have to say is wow… I get the brazilian blowout, cut, and color. Sometimes when I am feeling a little daring or in the summer, I let her get creative with highlights. I am the type of person who has a hard time making any drastic changes to my hairstyle or color but I feel confident in all of the suggestions that she makes and I have been amazed each time I leave the salon.
I was just about ready to chop off my long hair because of the time it takes to blowdry it and take care of it. After doing the brazilian blowout I can dry and style my hair in less than 15 minutes!!! Any woman out there who has long hair can understand how excited I was after that!
I would recommend Des to anyone looking to «refresh» their look. She really knows how to match the different color shades according to your skin tone.
Hands down the best hairstylist I have ever been to! I will be her client for life!
