Both my kids have been trained by Master Doug at Elite. One is a 2nd degree the other is working on his 2nd degree. Doug is an amazing teacher. Kids love him, parents love him. Most importantly he gives the kids a great foundation in focus and discipline. Highly recommend Doug and his team at Elite.

We’ve been taking our son here for the past few months (he was 3, just turned 4) and we’ve seen major, major improvements in attitude, listening, helpfulness, following the rules. The instructors are stern but caring, very engaging with children and our son loves the opportunities they give (like the leadership chart an the belt stripes), to earn praise for making improvements. great for boys & girls, but if you have a strong-​willed boy like we do, this is definitely for him!

I’ve been taking my sons to Elite Fitness in Woodbury since their opening in February 2007. Master Doug does a brilliant job balancing the discipline of Taekwondo with some good fun for the kids. My kids love to attend class and really look forward to the interaction with Master Doug. He has fostered an atmosphere where children learn not only Taekwondo but also confidence, discipline, manners, good behavior and much more. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone thinking about enrolling their children. He offers a special 2 week trial and I know you won’t be disappointed.
