This park has a huge playground and is great for kids of all ages! There are toddler and regular swings, a tire swing, several slides, monkey bars, sand, basketball courts, and more. The surface is turf!
There is plenty of parking!

I went back to this park recently for memory’s sake.
It’s changed a bit since I’ve visited, but there have definitely been improvements. It isn’t as magical as it was when I was a toddler, but I’m definitely sure Castle Park acts as a kingdom for smaller kids.
There’s also a nice recreation center that the city has right in Castle Park, although, of course, you have to call them ahead of time to make sure there’s nothing going on there on a certain day.
Overall, a good, spacious park, a great place for families!
