Awesome spot! Bartender was a total sex bomb to yeeow! Had a ton of fun visiting and makin new friends Beer and wine only, makes sense since it’s on a school campus.

Let me just start with this: zot! zot! zot! I love the pub. I’ve spent too much money here but how could I not when they have a great selection of IPAs and it’s perfect to kick it with friends and watch some sports games. I only go during happy hour (4 – 7) because the prices are a little high during other business hours. Make sure to get Racer 5 IPA if it’s there. It’s the best one. I never eat the food there because I spend all my money on beer. I try to tell myself not to go anymore since I’m an alum but my undergrad friends always convince me to go. You know who you are! Cheers Eaters!

Great food and great selection of ales and beer! Love the relaxed vibe and I loved coming here with friends in college.

Just an ok bar. The only reason I even came across this was because of the fact I found them on tapfinder when I was looking for Pliny the Elder. They very rarely have it available, so call ahead before you go. This place is located ON campus, in the middle of the student center. You’ll also be surrounded by students who have never had beer before. Pretty hilarious when all of the customers form a line in front of the same spot at the bar, and the unfriendly awful Italian students order a beer for happy hour and pay in $ 11 worth of quarters. They have an AWESOME happy hour that starts and ends late. Didn’t have a chance to capture my Pliny, so I’m going to have to go back. Otherwise, I would just go to any other bar, anywhere else.

For a senior, I don’t go to the Pub as often as people think I do. However, whenever I do come here, its always a great experience. The atmosphere is great for hanging out and winding down after a hard week. I went here for a friend’s birthday and the food is great. I ordered the Stoner Tots (MUST GET!) and the California Burrito. The burrito started off really good but towards the end it was a bit salty. However the homemade tortilla chips it comes with are amazing! Definitely gonna miss this place when I graduate.

Good beer rotation but if u have any problems such as spilling your first full beer on total accident, do NOT count on the manager to even consider being rational with you. If the manager is having a bad day, you’re screwed.
Additionally, I politely and soberly waited at the bar for the bartender to finish his happy hour line before asking for a beer then when the line was clear I asked at 7:02 2 minutes late for a happy hour price and the manager threatened to kick me out instead.
This place is cool but the manager is an old depressed piece of shit loser.
DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS!

Love how this is on campus. Super convenient. Good selection of beer. Stoner fries are the best! The service is great. Good place to grab a bite to eat, have some beer, and good conversation.

I am suuuuch a sucker for beer + drunchies food!
I usually always go to the pub during the afternoon, but I always aim to end up at happy hour to get the best deals! Stoner tots/​fries is my go-​to order (secret menu item) It comes with tots/​fries w/​sour cream, guac, carne asada. The tots are crispy on the outside and with a nice fluff in the inside.
I am not the biggest beer drinker, but I am a sucker for some ciders. I usually go for the raspberry/​pear cider. Recently, I’ve ordered the snakebite which is half Guinness + half cider!
The service is pretty on point and accommodating. I just really love the chill environment. It’s a great place to take a study break!

FOOD: The food here is pretty legit for bar food. The bratwurst is good. The hummus and nachos are alright.
BEER: The beer selection is decent, I guess. Mostly I’m into the pear cider. Seriously though. Lol ;)
AMBIANCE: Nice, fun ambiance. It’s low key, but noisy, lighting is dim.
SERVICE: They don’t really do table service here, but the staff is usually pretty nice.

Had my first beer here when I turned 21 in October! They said they would help me transition into a real beer drinker in no time!
As of now, I’m still drinking my raspberry ciders. I can go crazy a little sometimes and get a snake bite! Who am I kidding… I only had that once: P but it was okay! It’s just super hard to transition from sugary cocktails and shots to sipping on a beer and just chilling on their comfy couch!

Always good service, though sometimes slow because it’s busy but I don’t mind. Tables are hard to get if it’s busy, and that is a problem but you can usually find even a small one and just add on chairs from tables not using them to build your group.
My favorite order is a snake bite with raspberry cider and beer, or raspberries better by itself. If the kitchen is still open, stoner fries are delicious. I do wish they had a little more meat, but they are great overall and it comes with guacamole sour cream and salsa at no extra charge. The salsa is surprisingly spicy, this coming from someone that loves spicy.
Make sure you take cash because they do not accept credit cards or debit cards. There are ATMs very close by in case you forgot cash.

Beer on a college campus. What more could you want?
I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a chance to participate in Quarter Club before they got rid of it! But all in all, it’s a pub on campus. How convenient is that? The rule is that you’re not there to get trashed, so be respectful and don’t chug your pint.
It can get super packed during happy hour (yes, even on the weekdays), so it might get difficult to find a table or seat during that time. The food here is pretty good if you’re looking for some greasy eats. Definitely recommend the stoner fries or stoner tots. I’m biased towards fries so if you’re going to ask me to pick, I’d recommend the fries over the tots any day.

Probably the best spot on campus. Cash only (which when I was in college was massively inconvenient because who carries cash!) — there is literally a row of ATMs right outside the pub in the courtyard.
Anyways, can get crowded and there can be long waits to get a drink. My favorite was by far a classic Snake Bite (half Guinness, half cider). Prices during Happy Hour are good! Also, splitting pitchers with friends is always a solid move.
I loved the pub food when I was in college. The stoner fries, stoner tots, quesadilla, etc were all great! Loved the grilled cheese with tomato too. Large portions for decent prices.
Love that they do trivia and have lots of big TVs to catch your favorite sporting events. A UCI staple — hopefully for many years to come.

Great prices, only craft brew. You will be carded. It is cash only. Happy hour is from 4−7PM.
There are policies in place to almost eliminate people getting trashed. Come here if you are looking for good beer at good prices. Go somewhere else if you are looking to get trashed on the cheap.

Food is good, not gourmet by any means, but definitely geared towards a good time. Mexican yums.

Feeling cheeky with your friends, well this campus bar is right for you.
After long day of studying and pondering about your future, it is always nice to have a place in campus where you can let loose and indulge one self with some liquid courage. Conveniently located in the middle of the UCI, students flock here day and night to congregate. With the reasonable price of a lager, a pint or two wont break the bank.
The atmosphere will set anybody in a drinking mood. (Whatever that means) Very spacious, bar is decent and lighting is just right. Cash only, Yup! Perhaps that is one reason why the food here is reasonable. The food is surprisingly very good, its greasy full of carbs, and deep-​fried, Perfect nutrition for the college lifestyle.
Great bar, good crowd and generous bartender, this should be enough to make your college life a lot easier.

I came through after I was pretty disgusted with my dinner. Originally I had no intentions of coming through here but this place rocks! Being that I had never gone to UCI, I kinda started to wish I had. I would have been here after every exam, well maybe before too just drinking away my stress lol. Seriously though, the ambiance is that of a college bar and its awesome. The customer service was chillaxing.
I ordered some brewsky and stoner tots. I’m not really a fan of beer but that was some really zesty ones I had yesterday. The stoner tots were great comfort food that comforted me very well. It was just so crispy and fulfilling. The tots were golden brown which I didn’t expect and the texture was quite marvelous. It was delicious. My only regret was not getting the stoner fries since I heard they were good too but I already was about to explode out of fullness.
Overall, this pub is a great place for UCI students to unwind. I was lucky to be in the area and had the chance to try this place. Coming from CSUF I wish there was a place like this there (thats as good too). I’d definitely return if I’m looking for great bar food. Good choice on my part for coming here instead of bww.

The pub has to be among my Top 5 places (if not THE top place) for me on campus. Beer & grub? What’s not to love? There’s always a plentiful amount of beers on tap & they also have different food options from sandwiches and fries to tots! If you haven’t already, get yourself some stoner tots! Note, you can also sub tater tots with other potato options (i.e. curly fries). And okay, while they not be as amazing to those who don’t love potatoes as much as I do but I definitely think they’re worth it. &!when the food pickings are slim and you’re on campus and want two things? Food and good beer. The pub is where I venture to! You can also get your food to go!
Also, if they have it on tap. Yes, get the Black Beauty Cream Stout. Da best beer bae option for me f’sho without a doubt.
