Irmo Town Park has a festival called the Okra strut. It’s every October. They have food and rides and bouncy houses they also have a group of people preform(different people every year) You have to get tickets at Irmo Town Park to be able to ride the rides and the bouncy houses. It can get overcrowded, but when the beginning of the Okra strut when people just start getting there to near the end of the Okra strut when people start to leave, it is less crowded. This is a place you could get married, I wouldn’t. I would probably get married in Savannah. Also there is the police and the town council that is right near the park. The park is not too big. I wish it was bigger, with the new Irmo town park coming soon, just read Robbie Asghari’s(me) tip. It will be much bigger and nicer compared to the one we have already. And with the new park is were the okra strut is going to be held, that’s what I heard. If you don’t like this park, when the new one is finished being built you will probably like that one better and go there instead of the one we have now. The new Irmo Town Park has a playground for kids and a whole bunch of new stuff. They let you drive down there and see it, but you have to drive speed 18.
