Whittier Motel

The Whittier Motel is a great place to stay. It has a nice location in Ipswich, fairly close to Ipswich downtown and Essex. Even better, the rooms are nice, fairly priced, and they take pets.
The woman that owns the Whittier is great. When our apartment building burned down, she let us come at 4 in the morning and stay there for free. She was very kind, and we felt extremely welcomed especially since we had dogs and it’s so hard to find motels around here that will take dogs.
It was very quiet when we were there, and I can imagine it stays pretty quiet even in the busier months. The room was very nice and quaint. There’s a dining room on site, but we never used it.
If you need a place to stay in Ipswich, even on short notice, the Whittier Motel is a great choice. We were extremely happy with our stay there!
