Stopped in today for the first time and we were blown away by the quality of the wares… impeccable-​est! (Lorin, the owner, knows what I’m talking’ about!)
Provenance is paramount before investing in high-​quailty mid-​century pieces, and it’s quite obvious that Lorin takes great care in providing as much information as possible on each and every piece.
This is a gem of a shop. I can’t wait to get back.

do you like mid century treasures? Then you’ve come to the right place! Be careful though, once you buy one piece, you’ll want to keep going and buy more. I think I was most impressed with how quality the collection is. Sometimes thrift/​used places can be junky but not this place! Check it out, it’s totally worth the trip.

The most Danish Modern in the Boston area I’ve seen in one store, and the selection of American midcentury modern is really cool too. Lorin should be a decorator! Impeccably tasteful.

While on a motorcycle ride up north I stopped into Be Modern on the way to Crane’s Beach. I was very impressed with the quality + variety of items in the shop. I also loved the original artwork on the walls created by the owner + was surprised to find out she not only paints, works with mixed media, but creates gorgeous pieces of jewlry as well. A wonderful place to browse + find unique modern furniture + other surprises!
