Wide smiles and wagging tails at Spot and Co. Shadow, Sunny and I highly recommend Spot and Co. It’s a great place to teach your dog basic canine manners in a fun, positive, social atmosphere. It is very family-friendly, and you’ll see people of all ages having success working with their dogs. As instructor Judy says, there is nothing better for your dog’s well-being than to see the world as a good place filled with nice dogs and nice people. Puppy Kindergarten is the perfect course to work on things like sit, stay, come, and how to politely interact with other puppies and their people. The course is worth the price of admission just for the opportunity to see the pack of puppies playing with each other at some point during every session – hilarious! Agility work involves a wide variety of exciting equipment to build your dog’s confidence. The A-frame, tunnels, hurdles, jumping ring, and other challenges help you and your dog learn to work together, get a great aerobic workout, and gain a sense of pride in a job well done. It is also a total blast! The facility itself is large, airy, and clean. The staff is warm, helpful and kind with a wealth of useful information for just about any behavioral issue you can imagine. Director Sue is prompt and responsive to inquiries, organized and professional with everything to meet your needs and those of your furry friends. Classes are available in a convenient variety of days and times to accommodate many experience levels. My dogs and I are so glad we found Spot and Co. It’s a wonderful community resource. Give it a try, and your dog will thank you for it. You’ll know how happy s/he is by the wagging tail!
