We purchased a Dacor drop in stove and oven from them a few years ago. I picked the stove up with my truck. The stove had a damaged heater element, that occurred at the factory, they would not honor the warrantee to replace this, even when I showed them the damaged ceramic insulator. Then the plastic bezel on the front above the oven door developed a crack. I called them on the phone, I knew it was not under warrantee. They would not drop ship the replacement part to my home, which forced me to take time off work and drive from CR to IC to pick it up. What is wrong with your concept of customer service? I was not asking for you to install, or is this the problem? I assume you didn’t make enough money.(the part was $ 180). But I paid for shipping of the item to your store. I’ll use your show room to ‘shop’ for an appliance, but I will never purchase from your business ever again.

My wife and I tried to purchase a dishwasher from Slager. They seemed enthusiastic at first and gave us a great deal on a Bosch dishwasher. I was informed that it would take 5 – 7 days to order the dishwasher, as they did not have the one we ordered on hand. However, after 16 days i received a phone call informing me that the model we ordered was back ordered and then no longer available. How does it take 2+ weeks to obtain this information. Slager was veyr unapologetic about the situation and only offered other models at over $ 200 the cost of the model we tried to purchase. Unacceptable and extremely inconvenient. My emails to the representative that helped us(who had the last name Slager) went unanswered. The next week we went to The Appliance Barn in Kolona on a Saturday morning and our new dishwasher at a very fair price was delivered to us on Tuesday afternoon. LESSTHANTHREEBUSINESSDAYS! Do yourself a favor, don’t darken Slager’s door and make the drive to Kolona, just 15 minutes away. it will be worth your time.
