book(noun) — A set of written, printed, or blank pages fastened along one side and«encased between protective covers». a $ 200 stack of loose papers is not a book, also theyre insanely difficult to maintain, and impossible to sell back through conventional channels btw a stack of printer paper costs $ 5 at Staples whats so great about this lump of paper with holes in it that makes it cost more than attention from a teacher for five months

I attempted to gain access to a MyLab after paying the insane amount of money(that I have no choice to but to pay because Pearson has a monopoly on textbooks and online learning) and was told everything from«You don’t have an account with Pearson», all the way to the telling me MyWritingLab was made for instructors only.(Which was an outright lie) After I was sent a resolution-type email everything was cleared up in few… oh wait, that’s not how it ended. It ended with my emails being completely ignored and being told I was lying in chat even after I offered to show a bank statement that clearly shows I paid it. This is what happens when a company monopolizes an industry. Nothing anyone says matters. If we want to go to college we have to buy your products regardless of how you treat your customer/hostages. PS — This is why people torrent textbooks.
