With doctors, as with medications, results may vary. I’ve been seen here for a few years now and, recently, things seem to have improved. I am no longer left sitting in the treatment room for 30 – 45 minutes past my appointment time before seeing a doctor. I don’t know if this is because I changed doctors here but I get in and out much quicker.

Office staff was friendly and answered all my questions as this was my first visit. I got back to see the doctor within 10 minutes of being there. The nurse was friendly to both myself and my significant other. When the doctor got in he didn’t rush to get my vitals and leave. He actually sat down and asked what concerns I had as a patient. They made me feel like I actually mattered instead of just another few bucks in there pocket. I will definitely keep going back.

I have never been so frustrated with a doctor’s office in all my life. The receptionists are just plain rude. They could care less if you are sick — you will still have to wait 2 weeks to get seen by a doctor. And don’t even try to schedule a physical, they only book them a year out. We tried using this office for 2 years since we like the doctor, but after a while it was just not worth the headache anymore. They are other good docs in Iowa City with better offices.

Terrible. Awful service, understaffed, rude receptionists, and no desire to help their patients. Even if you’re a patient of theirs, be prepared to be on hold for at least 10 minutes just to be shunned away by receptionists.
