I’ve gone to Daydreams for years, even back when it was near the Old Capital Mall.
The comic selection at Daydreams is refreshing, and you’d be hard pressed to find another comic store in the fairly immediate area with such volume. You can find anything from manga (though, the selection is far smaller than it used to be) to old comics to modern comics.
Daydreams does have other objects (plush toys, action figures, wall decal, and more), but these too have sort of become sparse as per when I used to come very often. It’s a bit of a letdown, but I assume it’s because the comics sell better. Let’s be honest: This is a comic shop, so having other objects is a plus.
Overall, I can always count on finding something nice in Daydreams. It’s not as compelling as some other comic shops, but it has pretty much what you’d need in terms of ongoing comics.

Daydreams has a great comic book selection but not a whole lot more. A few figures and merchandise but not a whole lot. If it’s just comic books you’re looking for this place is great but if you’re looking for merchandise and such, this place isn’t the best choice.

I have been shopping at Daydreams for nearly 20 years. They have pull-​lists for regular customers, which helps ensures that I don’t miss my favorite books. They have a good assortment of trade paperbacks, which is good. The only reason I don’t give them five stars is that we’ve had a few incidents recently where less popular titles on my pull-​list weren’t ordered.

Daydreams has a nice selection of comics and trade paperbacks, as well as some assorted collectible action figures, manga, etc. Their selection is best for current issues, as they tend to sell out of popular titles relatively quick. Even less popular titles might be gone if you aren’t there a few days after release. Fortunately, their staff is helpful about holding copies, or setting up a pull list, so don’t hesitate to ask! They’re also good about getting titles they don’t usually carry for you, if you ask, or second printings if you want. Overall, a nice local comic dealer.

This is your one-​stop comics shop. The guys who work here rock and the set up and contents of the store are totally boss, as well. Handy alphabetized «wall of new s**t» really helps if you’re new to comics or if you’re just in a hurry and don’t have a pull list. (I recommend getting one because they’ll bag and board everything for you and turn you onto new stuff that you will more than likely dig. Sort of like Tivo for your comics!)
Nice collection of graphic novels, old back issues and vintage issues, toys, merch, etc. Great service overall and a nice place to do business and shoot the breeze. They make my life just a little better. :)
