Kings New York Pizza – Inwood

I have eaten at virtually every pizza joint in Winchester looking for the closest thing to a New York slice. Most of them get close but now quite there. Has someone reccomend this place and I think I’ve finally found my go to when close isn’t cutting it. I only wish they were closer. For what it’s worth their large pizza seems larger then others but maybe that was wishful thinking on my part.

You will try this pizza and be amazed that you found something this true to taste and quality in small town WV. I was highly surprised at how good it was and I’m very glad I live close enough to order this when I’m craving pizza. Amazing pizza and steak and cheese subs. You’ll be salivating for more. Always good service and quality each time we order

I LOVE Kings, they are authentic and costumer service savvy. I am extremely impressed with them and have not one bad thing to say… But it would be awesome if they had some ficcochia bread!

King’s has excellent New York style pizza. The crust is fairly thin and never burnt. My only complaint (which some people would not find any problem with) is that they put a bit too much cheese on the pizza. I am big on having an appropriate cheese to sauce to crust ratio and the pizza at Kings is like getting an extra cheese pie at most other restaurants. The subs are very good. I have had the meatball parm, chicken parm, and chicken cheesesteak which are all excellent. The prices are a little pricey for this part of the country.

Wow, King’s is the best! Great Italian food, huge portions! Great food, totally reasonable prices, great staff. With four locations in Berkeley County there is a reason why everyone loves Kings!!!

They have extremely great food. It’s really clean. The employees are extremely nice and friendly.

This is the best place in the area for pizza. Everything else is really good too.
The value is really good. They don’t skimp on ingredients. One large pizza = grocery shopping for a week.
Pasta dishes are great and the salads are crisp
The service is good and the restaurant is really clean.

When our family wants pizza, this is where we order! Their antipatso salad is delicious especially with their House dressing!

I’m from New York and my husband and I decided to move to WV and we have tried many pizza shops around here and Winchester and they weren’t good. This pizza is good, very fresh and my husband was in shock with how impressively clean the place was. His exact words were «I never seen a restaurant so clean in my life». Portions are huge!!! You won’t be disappointed.

Quick service, good prices. Love the sauce and bread. Dont be fooled be the outside, the inside is lovely.

It was just a good, solid Italian restaurant. I got the homemade lasagna, and it was both huge and pretty good. All folks were very friendly, and entrée prices fell between $ 12-​$ 25.

I wish I would’ve taken photos while we were at this restaurant now that I see how few there are posted. We will definitely go back again & again! Friends suggested this for dinner on Friday & my boyfriend said this parking lot was always full, but little did we know it was for this restaurant. It is so plain on the outside of the building that you’d think it’s just a pizza place. But that’s far from the truth.
All of our meals were huge portions & I had to wonder if they were meant to be family style. I had eggplant parmigiana & could’ve eaten it for 3 meals. The eggplant was sliced thin & cooked well with a whole side bowl of spaghetti. Friends had veal parmigiana, the tour of Italy, & a lemony chicken dish. All were exceptional.
Bread is brought to the table with a wonderful dipping oil that I doubt any of us could recreate at home. All entrées also come with salad. The atmosphere is inviting, not too noisy, & the owner is frequently in the restaurant overseeing things according to our friends. When we go back in looking forward to trying a hot sandwich for lunch.

I grew up in NYC and have lived in other large cities. For the money this is the best Italian restaurant that I been to. Great food, very large portions, great service and very nice people. This place is a mirage in an area that depends on chain restaurants for decent food.

Been going here forever, they are always good, very nice and there is a lot to choose from.
Pizza is really good, Bruschetta is really good, basically everything is really good.
Cheesecake is amazing.

This place has my two favorite qualities in a restaurant: good food AND good service. They never fail with any of their food — be it pasta dishes or pizza — and their servers and staff are always pleasant. There aren’t many places like that in this area, so my family and I try to go here whenever we have the chance to go out.

Had a great meal and the waiter was friendly and attentive. Large portions lots to choose from. Can’t wait to go back! Went with friends and we all loved our meals.

I would absolutely give 5 stars based upon the food and excellent service! But I’ll stick with 4 stars because it is a strip mall pizza joint… But one of the best!
If you think ordering one stuffed slice of pizza won’t fill you up, you would be wrong. It’s HUGE!
I also recently tried the Grilled Chicken Greek Salad, it was PERFECT.
