Hampton Inn Martinsburg South-Inwood

Appears to be new or recently updated. Tastefully decorated in the lobby and breakfast area. However as another reviewer mentioned — there are stink bugs in the rooms and outside. Comes with the territory I suppose — it’s stink bug and ladybug season. Although I prefer the ladybugs. Just passing through so I can’t say if I would stay here again. I’m not a fan of any bugs!

I’m only deducting a star because we found a couple of bugs in our room each day we were there. My husband is from the area and were there visiting his family, so we booked for three nights.
Check in was really easy. Came in pretty late at night from driving from Boston, and the girl at the front desk was nice. Unloaded the car and went up to our room. We got a room right near the elevator, which is nice with a baby. The room was nice. Clean, two beds, clean bathroom. The view was the back parking lot overlooking some houses, but oh well, we weren’t there for the view. Found a couple of bugs there that first night that my husband took care of.
Didn’t make it down in time for breakfast the first day, so we ventured across the street to the Waffle House. There is also a McDonalds right across the street, a Food Lion, and a Sheetz up the street, which was very convenient.
We did make breakfast the second and third mornings. Lots to choose from. Eggs, French toast, waffles, fruit, pastries, cereal, yogurt, juice. Quite a spread. The lady working the breakfast area was very nice too. I guess she has been working there several years.
We will stay here again if we visit my husband’s family. It was a nice, comfy place to stay! Minus the bugs.

Me and a buddy of mine stayed at this hotel for a night to visit the nearby Civil war parks. Our check in was late but quick. The hotel is new, or newly remodel, (not sure which). The area had plenty of nearby restaurants and services. The staff was accommodating. There was good service at the free breakfast area with a good number of selections. No complaints about the room, it was clean and new. Beds were comfortable and the room and lobby area were nicely decorated. The price was a little high for the area, so if i were to stay in the area again, I may search for a better deal.

Started using this Hotel shortly after they opened a few years back!!! Very Friendly staff and it is always clean!!! They usually offer the best prices for a Hampton Inn in the region!!!
I have family in the area, so it is always a great place to stay!!! We could stay at a close Hampton Inn, but not a BETTER one!
We stay on this property, the front desk crew calls us by our names and have become friends!!!
