Active Life Chiropractic and Wellness Center

This review only pertains to my massage experience. I did not receive any chiropractic services.
I purchased a 1-​hour massage groupon. Made an appointment for 9am. They told me that they would email me some info etc… NO thanks, I ignored the email — I’m just going in for a simple relaxing massage.
I arrived at 9am. (A little tricky to find) Very nice girl who turned out to be my massage therapist checked me in, handed me paper to fill out then showed me the room and stepped out for me to change. By the time she started the actual massage, about 10 miutes had already passed.
The massage itself was great! She did an amazing job. Although you can hear everyone talking outside so not the most relaxing atmosphere… When she finished, I wiped off my drool and looked up and the clock was in my face: 8:58am…I know for SURE that we did not start the massage at 7:58… I got dressed and double checked the time on my cellular device.
I went out to the lobby, asked the MT what time we started, she said 9:10am. I said I purchsed a 1-​hour massage but the massage only lasted 48 minutes. Thats when the chiropractor stepped in and tried to explain that they start the clock when you first walk into their office and that since I didn’t fill out the paperwork ahead of time and bring it in and show up early, I did not receive the full 1 hour massage and they had to get me out by 10am. Although it was a Monday and they clearly had no other customers waiting. They also tried to blame groupon by saying that its actually a 55-​minute massage (which is still not 48 minutes) they offer and groupon can only advertise 1 hour massage blah blah. Misleading!

This doctor knows what she is doing. It shows with amount of people coming thru her office. The location is nice and close to Schaumburg. Her office is clean, tidy and professionally laid out so that you feel comfortable in your pain reduction. I highly recommend her.
