Definitely a hidden gem as others have said. It is a Mom and Pop shop with incredible service. We walked in for the first time today, were greeted at the door and had our orders taken promptly. Everything was prepared fresh, quickly, and you could tell they took great pride in what they were preparing. We will be back.

Had the Enchilada verde, it is standard Mexican American enchilada fare. Good. There was some dad TV on monitor, if you want a bit of entertainment while you eat by yourself. It’s small, with just 3 booths, so don’t bring all your friends, or in my case, bring all your friends plus a half dozen strangers.

This place is incredible. Fresh made horchata, great tacos and other dishes. I haven’t tried the sopas or tortas yet, but they look amazing. Not greasy at all. Their location is hard to see from the road, they need to get a sign out on Cahill. I’m really worried since all of the previous restaurants in this location have gone out of business because no one knew they were there. Taco Tuesdays… $ 1 tacos. Awesome.

This place is a hidden gem! The sopes my roommate and I had were amazing, as was the guacamole. Though this place is very small and I recommend doing take put, the service from the owners of this restaurant is great, they’re super friendly and we’re ready with recommendations!

very poor food for being three Mexicans working there. Food is poor. Tamalle so so. Thought this was going to be great Mexican food in the city finally. Well I was wrong. Ran out of beef for dry not much flavor. I am very sad to see another poor restaurant here in Inver Grove Heights.

Wanted some Mexican, and not Taco Bell. This place is a tiny hole in the wall with real authentic Mexican. First time there thought I’d go safe and get nachos. They were awesome. Definitely will go there again.

Was excited to try this place when it opened. Ordered a steak and chicken burrito, along with nachos and chips n guac. Burritos were small(taco size) and very bland. Rice and beans were bland, counted about 4 chunks of steak in the whole burrito, WAY too much cilantro. Nachos also very bland and chips tasted old. Guac was decent. Would not eat here again, but prices are cheap.

For a local place near my house, I really enjoyed their food and prices. It’s kind of in the corner of a very small strip mall, so it was kind of hard to notice. This is what we got: Steak Burrito: It was smaller than Chipotle(as I really like Chipotle and I’ve compared everyone else’s burrito’s to theirs now) but it did come with some unique fillings. The steak was pretty tasteful and as it was a little smaller, it didn’t make me feel super full after eating it. I’d give the burrito a 3⁄5.(I know, Chipotle isn’t probably authentic or what not, but I Like it so: p) 3 Tacos: This is where I feel for them… yup… 3 tacos… each with a variety of choices of meat: steak, chicken, and pork(marinated or roasted), there was another one or two I believe, but we went with steak, chicken, and roasted pork. The tacos were very basic, just the meat, diced onions, and cilantro, and a lime on the side. The Roasted pork was awesome! The pork was dry, but the onion, cilantro, and lime helped compliment it in your mouth. The chicken was kind of dry and tasteless, very plain, nothing to rave about. The steak was a little better and easier to eat. If I go next time, I’m just going to get 3 roasted pork tacos, MMmmmmmmMMM. I’d rate the chicken taco 2/5, steak taco 3/5, and roasted pork taco 5⁄5! Inside the restaurant, there’s about 3 tables, so seating is limited, but there are some pictures of the food they provide(not a lot, but they are working on it, as a sign says) It’s not very up to date yet, but I’m sure it’s a working progress once they figure out the traffic flow in their restaurant. Overall, they have just opened up(I think?) but when we arrived(around 6pm) they were quite busy already. I’ll probably go back tomorrow after work, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day, and the next day! Since the prices were pretty reasonable, I’d say give it a shot and see what you think.
