Yum! Awesome shakes. Delicious burgers, and root beer floats of course. I brought a coupon for a free shake – they accidentally made my shake twice, so I had two delivered to me! Their mix-up was to my benefit! Two shakes for the price of none!

The new ownership is way better! Having been closed for a couple years, the new owners gave this place the face-lift it needed. Much better than the«old» A&W! As for food, I know what I’m getting and I’m not surprised by the prices. The only complaint I have is that the wait in the drive-thru is generally really long. I understand as they get their staff trained, it’ll take time to work out the kinks so I won’t fault them for that. However, if they want to change the minds of the IGH residents who knew the«old» A&W, it might be time to emphasize customer service and urgency.

Drive through service was awful. Waited in line behind three cars as crept forward .Car in front of me left line and drove away after waiting at order mic. After ten minutes, reached order mic, told some one would be with me in a minute. 10 minutes later I drove around to the window to see three staff chatting, no one at counter indoors. They simply had been forgetting about the drive thru!!!

Just a normal«fast» food place. Had the papa burger and onion rings. Burger a little too salty for my liking. Overpriced for what you get. Not better or worse than McDonald’s or other fast food. Expect to wait as the staff seems to be pretty slow. Took me 11 minutes to get through drive thru with only one car in front of me.

Papa Burger, regular fries, medium rootbeer float. $ 10.29 I feel guilty, because I feel like A&W is probably already experiencing enough hardship as it is without a «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» review. I stopped in by myself on a Saturday afternoon simply because I wondered, ‘How is this place still here?‘ There were a few customers there, I figured, Hm. The place is bound to have loyal customers. Good. Because I remember A&W from my childhood, and yes, it’s an emblematic American fast food joint. I just wish they could do a little better for the price. I ordered the Papa Burger, a regular order of fries and the $ 1.29 «float upgrade» and took the little metal number sign to my table to wait. The sandwich and fries arrived, then came the float. The whole thing came to $ 10.29, which really shouldn’t be. I know the place is struggling, but there’s gotta be a better way. Maybe not. The windows were notably grimy all around, but everything else was in order. Frosty glass mug – you really can’t beat that. The ice cream was good, the rootbeer tasty as advertised. It just shouldn’t come in over ten bucks. That part’s gonna take this ship down.

I’m not in love with this place, I’ve never loved their food, but it doesn’t make me sick like mc vomits. I’d give it 3 stars, but I feel bad for them because it’s in such a terrible location, it’s hidden from all sides and finally they added a tall sign to be seen from the highway, so hopefully they make it this time. Love the root beer though.

This place is fantastic and brings back memories of my childhood having root beer in a frosted mug. I love the onion rings and cheese curds. The burgers are good but the chicken tenders are exceptional! I believe this is the best fast food out there.

This place reminds me of the A&W I used to go to as a young boy with my family every Friday night. You can’t beat a frosty mug of root beer!

Stopped in on Sunday evening 7÷5÷15 for an early dinner. Nice new expanded indoor seating and outdoor seating too.(we had visited a few times before under the previous owners) Decided on the ‘ol Pappa Burger, a double burger with cheese and all the fixings. I got charged the combo price but substituted onion rings and a shake. The combo was $ 8 or so, plus the upcharge of 99 cents for the rings… plus the regular price of the shake. Not sure exactly what is included in the combo price… Seemed rather a little expensive. The regular price of the rings is $ 2.49. The burger arrived a bit«smashed» in the wrapper… not as beautiful as the photos I have seen but that is par for the course. The veggies on top were fresh, the meat was cooked right and everything was hot. The rings were also good, a good sized portion, nicely breaded and not a lot of salt.(which is good!) The chocolate shake(a small size which was plenty big) was also tasty with whipped cream and cherry on top. My dining partner had the double bacon cheeseburger, also a bit pricy with a small fry. The fry portion seemed a bit skimpy but they were hot and tasty. He had a root beer float which looked huge and he reported it was great. The service seemed fairly quick and easy, just the price seemed a bit high to us. It was nearly $ 23 for the two of us. The dining room was fairly clean and well maintained. We did not use the rest room so we can’t comment on that. We don’t do fast food all that often but we want to support our neighborhood businesses. We’ll stop by again but might look for coupons or other discount offers for our next visit.
