Cathedral Ledge Condominium Resort

This place was nice as far as the location etc. But upon arriving the heat was blasting in the middle of June, we barely had any hot water, the toilet over flowed from the upstairs bathroom into the downstairs 1. It wasnt very clean at all. The ice dispenser was covered in mold. Our checkout was horrible because the manager at night told us we could stay until 1 but the manager Karen refused to honor that so her cleaning crew could get in and clean. thats funny cuz im pretty sure all they walked around w was a bottle of all purpose cleaner n changed sheets. not even the top blankets got changed… so nasty!!! The worst of all is I left with nasty bite marks on my neck and shoulder. I went to the Drs and was told its folliculitis. which is caused from a dirty whirlpool/​jacuzzi. What does this tell you? Stay away. O am so grossed out and would never go there again. I wouldnt recommend it either. These people charge maintainance fees to their members. but little do they know. the cleaning crew does not clean at all.

We stayed here for a week at the end of March in Unit E. Unit E is not located with the townhouses. It’s a small, single floor cottage off to the side. It worked well for us. We had privacy as there was no neighbors on either side as there would be in the townhouses and we had our own driveway and parking. We didn’t really make use of the facilities, but they do have a game room, fitness room and a indoor swimming pool.
The units are set up to have everything you need for a week, full kitchen, small washer and dryer, gas grill, etc. They do not provide housekeeping, but the unit was very clean when we arrived. The unit definitely needs updating. There were a few spots on the ceiling that need attention, old wallpaper, fixtures, etc. There are notes up that they are starting to update things and our unit had new outdoor siding and they were siding one of the townhouses while we were there.
While the heating units in our unit seemed on the newer side, they were very irritating. They were loud, would randomly start up and start blowing cold air and seemed to have no rhyme or reason. We had to shut off the one in the living room while watching TV and would shut off the one in the bedroom at night. The unit really could stand to have a new mattress as well.
Overall, despite the heating and mattress issues, I would consider staying there again.
