It’s your favorite local diner for your regulars and a perfect stop to refuel for the traveler. We fall into the former and highly recommended the stuffed hash browns or breakfast burrito.

Enjoyed the Friday fish fry and it was pretty good. The Coleslaw was the dry type, so I ignored it. The fries were half crispy and half not, but coming to a fish fry, your mainly looking for the fish. Had the cod and it was excellent. Came out hot, lightly crispy and very tasty. Definitely a fish fry.

This is a classic greasy spoon mom and pop shop. A friend and I stopped in here on our way out of town and had one of the largest breakfasts I’ve seen in a while. I ordered the 2 eggs special that came with hashbrowns, toast, and a meat(I chose bacon). The meal was as ordered, and absolutely delicious. They give you one really thick piece of toast, and the portion sizes are huge. My friend got their renowned stuffed hashbrowns and was raving about how good they were. They are crispy hashbrown stuffed with sour cream and bacon and topped with melted cheese. How can you say anything bad about that?! The staff was friendly and prompt. My only complaint was that the coffee was pretty terrible.

Great restaurant. Good prices and large portions. Wish that there were more vegetarian options, but they were willing to sub out meat for extra veggies no charge.

Thankfully it was nice out and we enjoyed the outdoor seating for our breakfast. Pancakes were huge and tasted great. Also had the meat lovers skillet which was quite hearty. Our waitress was Amy, she was very nice and helpful with the menu. Family friendly, good food and good value. We’ll definitely be back and I recommend trying it out.

Just had lunch there with my son. He loved his chicken finger meal and I loved my chicken quesadilla. Good food, nice atmosphere!

Great place for any meal. My wife and I hit it every time we’re in the area which is as often as we can get away from the city. Great service and great food.

Ignore the one star review. Dilbert’s is a no-frills gem. Friendly, hard-working staff. Stuffed hash browns are great.

Great local gem. They have the best breakfast that’s cooked to perfection every time. The eggs perfect, bacon crispy, and the toast is just plain awesome. Great fast and friendly staff.

What a dog! Dumpy plain jane. Home cooking? Call it greasy food heaven. When are these places going to start serving food for vegans?

I always love this no frills locally owned establishment in Interlochen. The service is fast and friendly. The place is very small and simple, cheap, and not touristy at all. Breakfast is great here — you’ll love the hashbrowns.

Oh I shouldn’t tell you of our gem here in Interlohcen. We go for breakfast each time we are here. Fast, friendly service. Small place. May have to wait for a seat, especially parties larger than 4. No room for a hostess. Honor system waiting outside. Food is good. Nothing fancy. Bread is good. Ham, bacon and sausage wonderful.

Absolutely fantastic place for breakfast or lunch. Small, local place, not touristy at all. If you’re looking for a huge selection or fancy fare, this is not for you. This is home cooking at its best. Generous portions, terrific service… it’s all here. Their baked goods(bread, pies) are amazing. This is a *don’t miss* if you’re in the Traverse City/Interlochen area.
