There are many quilt shops in the area, and it’s hard to decide where to buy. The Village Quilts seemed to be a good one(with attentive staff and beautifully made quilts) but I can’t recommend it. I bought a tiny quilt and I paid for it $ 160. It was expensive but at the time I thought it was worth it. It even came with a certificate with the name of the quilter. Everything was fine until I saw the quilt at home… It was really dirty. I didn’t noticed it in the shop, but it was obvious under a brighter light. The white background has yellow and brown stains. When I wrote the shop to let them know that the quilt they sold me was dirty(I sent then pictures and the certificate), they told me how to clean it, but no apology whatsoever. They also told me to buy a fabric protector that they sell… It’s unfortunate they didn’t think about doing that themselves.

Very nice posh store. This business is part of the Kitchen Kettle Village shops. This place offers one on one sewing lessons. They had a lady hand sewing a quilt upon my visit. Friendly, helpful workers. :)
