This is one of the worst Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to. Beware of the orange chicken, it made me sick almost instantaneously. Avoid!

I eat here once a week and the food is cooked fresh and hot. The taste is real Chinese food. I never have a problem with my order. Best Chinese food around

Came here on lunch time, ordered spicy chicken chow mein. I waited about 30 minutes and my food was still not out. People came ordered are and I still didn’t get my order. Horrible experience. I went up and complained that my order is still not here. The rude old lady started to tell me that they are busy. I simply asked her to let her customers know there is a 30 minute wait for a simple chicken chow mein. She started to go off topic and talk stupid. Do not eat here. Horrible rude service.

Went to Starbucks and the wait time at my first restaurant choice had an hour and a half wait so I saw this place, checked Unilocal reviews and tried it. Thank You Unilocalers! I probably never would have tried the food but so glad I did. YUM! Got chicken fried rice(spicy but Delilah), curry chicken and they threw in another new chicken fried rice dish for me to try. Everything was really tasty. I will be back.

This place have some of the best fried rice ever. My sissy and I loved their chicken and shrimp fried rice. Babe loved the shrimp and vegetables. Even though I reside in Inglewood I haven’t ate here in two years because one day I decided to order my all time time favorite dish«the fried rice of course» and it had gray hairs all in my food. Like the chef was combing his hair and cooking at the same time. I had to throw my whole plate away and I haven’t returned since. Other than that the people are sweet.

This place always has something new. Today it’s the Jerk chicken fried rice. They along have Hot link fried rice. But that Chicken in Green Dragon sauce is awesome. Best service and very friendly.

Very rude people who yell. Brought a pineapple soda they don’t sell and the owner yelled«no outside food or drink» pointing to a dirty sign on the wall. Food was awful and greasy. I got a norovirus from it. Avoid! Owner attacked us when we asked why there were only a few tiny pieces of meat in the Mongolian beef.

Best food ever !! When I was pregnant this place was my main craving ! I even chose this as the last meal I wanted the day I went in to have my son ! My favorite is their shrimp chow mein. They ask if you want it spicy and I say yes. To add extra shrimp is only 2 $ which is very inexpensive. Great customer service. Food is fresh and you don’t have to wait long. Their chow mein tastes healthier and better than any other place I’ve tried. I love it here . You can dine in, it’s peaceful inside! or even take it to go but I would recommend this place to everyone. They have a lot of regulars that seem to come on lunch break or for dinner &&nd the employees know some of them by name which is always cool. Did I say I love this place ? That is all Thank you for reading

Long one short, second time here in a year since moving to Cali. First time, it was a random choice and we loved the vegetables with green dragon sauce! Tonight, shrimp green dragon, same thing-delicious! I’ve traveled this whole state and grabbed food all over and I swear these are the only people that use full bold flavor that I’m used to. In Miami food is made to taste as it should not based on what people tolerate. In other words, people that don’t like Indian food avoid it… Same in Miami. You just avoid it if it’s too much for you to handle they’re not going to sacrifice flavor and be passive aggressive about the seasoning of the food

I would give 4 stars until I seen a huge roach crawling on the floor next to the soda fridge near the kitchen… ewwww. It was too late to cancel my order I just prayed well over my food. However the food taste good but a tad bit expensive… although it’s cook to order… I think they can give you more for the price you pay. Lunch portions are skimpy… you’re better off paying more for dinner portion. Oh & make sure to check your order before you leave gets very busy & the lady owner might mix up or leave out one of your entrees… she does multi-task very well between phone orders, walk-ins but mistakes happen… I hope they extermination soon… ijs OMG

Everything here is so tasty. yet somehow seasoning isn’t overdone. It’s perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, it’s healthy & a great variety. Really like nothing I’ve ever had before. The owners are funny, cuz they have definitely learned to vibe w/their general customers. My husband & I have a great time every time we go & we go now all the time, our kids love it, & now we have referred friends that love it. Best meal = Smoked Salmon Fried Rice. New soup I tried today was Dragonfire sauce soup w/vegetables. It’s so delicious & a lil spicy, but ended up being the perfect suggestion the owner gave me! Love this lil hole in the wall spot! P. S. Still cracks me up the 1st time we walked in there, we were skeptical & almost left before ordering but the owner assured us is we ordered that we’d be back… my hubby said, How do I know that?!(light heartedly) .& the cute lil wife/owner’s reply was a very matter of fact« UnilocalME!!» …we almost fell out laughing. cuz of her lil accent & sure knowledge of technology/social media resources LOL… so we did & we HAVE indeed been coming back ever since!

Delicious! The wonton soup is my favorite! Didn’t realize that it’s all served family style so the servings are nice and generous. We had the soup, orange chicken, chow mien and chicken fried rice.

One of the better chinese places in the area. I got the hot dog fried rice, spicy and it was delicious! Boyfriend got some sort of noodles and he thought that was really good too. We would definitely come back here for quick chinese food in the area. Since we’re originally from 626, this is as good as it gets around here!

Good neighborhood Chinese spot. Owner is pretty outspoken, and really wants you to enjoy his food so be tried to accommodate a lot. The shrimp wonton noodles were great! Shrimp was fresh, wonton tasted so good, and the soup was very tasty! Definitely a eat-in kind of dish though. I also got the jerk chicken fried rice. It was bomb! They have no msg so that makes me feel better about getting their food. And it’s local!

The food here is amazing. The customer service is great. I’ve tried about 4 different dishes and 3 out of the 4 was amazing. I didn’t care for the Orange chicken. I loveeee the jerk chicken fried rice and the curry pineapple chicken fried rice the best. The owners aren’t mean or rude I’ve held a lot of conversations with them and they are just firm. It’s cook to order and they prefer to make what’s on their menu. When people request things they would find at a normal Chinese food place where the food isn’t fresh they may get a little offended.

Based on other Unilocalers’ good reviews, I decided to give this place a try today. I was expecting a long line, but was pleasantly surprised to find the place just about empty. The restaurant is clean and tidy which was welcoming. The woman who took my order was very pleasant and helpful. I ordered: Chicken Curry Rolls($ 5.95 for 3) These were yummy, like they literally spoon perfectly spiced Chicken Curry into an egg roll wrap and fry it to perfection. I was expecting a lighter filling such as the normal cabbage/veggie & chicken maybe tossed in curry powder as opposed to this rich, more dense twist on the average egg roll. Curry Chicken Noodle Soup($ 9.95÷1 size, Quart) I know, I know… I went a lil curry crazy lol. But ummm yea, I loved this soup! Nice texture, lots of flavor packed into a rich broth. Lovely chicken to noodles ratio… I actually ran outta noodles. Refreshing when most restaurants try to noodle and rice tha heck outta ya and toss in few chunks of meat. Hot Link Fried Rice($ 10.55÷1 size, decent portion) I requested extra spicy in which the cashier jokingly warned that the dish was already spicy. I thanked her for the disclaimer, but reiterated that I wanted HOT&SPICY please. Although very tasty, it was hardly spicy at all so that was a bit disappointing. Besides that the dish was just alright to me. I love hot links, but I’m not sure if I like em kickin it wit my fried rice.

Ordered takeout from here. Shrimp Fried Rice: Solid. They do this staple dish right. Shrimp Chow Mein: Flavor was awesome! Too bad the noodles were too damn thick. Seriously, I’ve never seen chow mein noodles that thick before. They need to be thinned out by half to get back to a normal chow mein size so I won’t be unnecessarily distracted while trying to eat. Pepper Steak: Decent. Seemed like more veggies than actual steak though. Garlic String Beans: Pass! Don’t waste your $ 9.25 on this. The flavor did not make up for the price. So sad because I was looking forward to some garlicky-goodness and that just didn’t happen. Crab Wontons: Pass! This is usually one of my favorites but here they weren’t as crispy and the filling just didn’t hit the spot like it does at other Chinese food spots. Overall: Meh. I’ll come back but I’ll stick to the shrimp fried rice from now on.

I took a variety of food home spending like $ 60 however I feel the food was ok and not really 4 – 5 star quality. One of the dishes was salmon rice something was really mediocre. I think for Chinese Hop-Li is a value for money place with excellent taste. Worth trying once.
