Their tacos are delicious, and worth the drive. The line move move pretty fast, so don’t be discouraged if you see a long line. The tacos are a dollar a each, and burritos are 5 dollars each. If you are up late night, this is the perfect place to get a satisfying bite to eat.

TL;DR Chorizo Tacos are great and $ 1 each. Mulitas($ 5) were decent. Burrito($ 5) was mostly filler. CASHONLY We were looking for El Vaquero, which is another taco truck that’s supposed to be in the area, but couldn’t find it tonight so we decided to try this spot out. I had an asada mulita($ 5) and two chorizo tacos. A mulita is a quesadilla with meat inside of it. They are pretty big, but at five bucks a pop I think the tacos are a better deal($ 1 each). Thought the asada mulita was tasty, but a bit too greasy. I liked the tacos better. It has a decent amount of meat and the chorizo was savory and a little spicy. They have a bunch of toppings to add in containers including different sauces, beans, limes, onions, cilantro and pico de gallo. I also want to mention that a buddy of mine got the asada burrito($ 5) and complained that it was mostly beans, so I’d stick with the tacos. These are out in the open so you can help yourself to as much or little as you want. The tacos were tasty. Parking was easy. Great spot for a late night taco! Pros: + Chorizo Tacos + $ 1 Tacos! + Cool staff + Good salsa + You can add all the toppings you want Cons: — No place to sit(like most taco trucks) — Not the safest looking area — Burrito was mostly filler — CASHONLY

Came here after a hillsong united concert. The prices are good at $ 1/taco. I saw a paint bucket filled with horchata. You know it aint good horchata unless it’s in a paint bucket. Gonna have to get it next time.

Located right on the border of Inglewood and Lennox, there are countless Taco trucks within a 2 sq mile area of this one. Mainly they’re located on this street(Hawthorne Blvd.) or the next main street to the west, Inglewood Avenue. Tacos El Gordo is BYFAR the cream of the crop. The main attraction here? The salsa bar. An amazing assortment of various salsas, pico de gallo, pepinos(spicy cucumber slices), beans, sauteed onions, charbroiled jalapenos, and on & on(see attached pictures). The 3 salsas generally offered– Avacado, Tomatillo, and an amazing smoky red chile, are among the 3 best salsas I’ve ever tasted. They are perfection. As an added bonus, there are usually a dozen or so plastic milk crates strategically placed on the adjacent sidewalk, creating a nice sitdown dining area ;)

I’m a local to the area, I’ve been coming here for a while now and to be honest, this place can be a mixed bag. There has been times in which the Tacos have been great! There has been times in which they have been below average. They have a great selection of sides and sauces you can pick from, they have great also have great Horchata! The place is usually busy so plan to wait a bit for your food. PS. Wrote this review because I read on here about their burritos and yeah, I wouldn’t recommend it what I received should have been referred to as a «Bean, Rice & Cheese Burrito» I took it apart half way to find there was only chicken on the ends & the middle of it was a mushy center of beans & rice…

Just try another taco place down the street somewhere, it’s gotta be better than this. I ordered Tacos: 2 asada 2 carnitas 1 buche 1 al pastor Nothing was tasty. I love greezy tacos but not these. Lots of people showed up when I was leaving, maybe I just ordered the wrong things

Look out for the orange truck on Hawthorne &104 They have champurrado all year yumm YUMM! My favorite are suadero tacos… probably the only place nearby with suadero And they have all kinds of sides to pick from: Beans Grilled onions Grilled jalapenos Pico de gallo Guacamole…which most places charge for And more! Tacos are only $ 1…burritos are $ 5 .my daughter being the picky eater that she is, LOVES their burritos and wouldn’t stop saying«oh my god!» Every time she took a bite

I must say that I was disgusted to find a hair on my tacos de asada. By no means will I ever go back to this taco stand, unless they start using hairnets. But as it is I noticed the small amount of meat they are starting to put on the tortillas. It feels as though I am paying for the oil they put on the tortillas rather the meat. Sorry for all the fanboys but I am fed up with their poor service.

It’s late and you just came home through LAX and you want some local food. This is where you go at midnight! SUPER cheap($ 1 for a taco), none of that over priced hipster food truck thing going on. They have an enormous selection of toppings and sauces out for you, they give you your taco and meat, you put everything else on yourself. This way you make your perfect taco! Burritos, Tortas, Quesadillas, and homemade drinks like Horchatas, they have it all! Only one star deduction because the meats are great but they aren’t OMG.

Sometimes it takes an unfortunate event to rekindle relationships. My toilet and I have set our differences aside and are best buds again after taking down 5 of these tacos… The second star is for the abundance of condiments and the purchasing power of the dollar here. Now…back to the throne :/

Pretty delicious tacos for $ 1 each. Get a canned soda or a champurrado for $ 1 as well. The tacos are small and bite sized but the portion of meat is perfect. They also have an array of salsas and all the condiments you can ask for of a street taco truck. These guys post up everyday and hang around till about 1am during the week and nearly 3 am on weekends. Wait time is fast and food is great. The parking however sucks. Before you were able to park at the market on the corner but the market owner got wise and is now chaining up the parking lot when the store closes. Expect to park on the busy street and walk a ways to get tacos. They also have quesadillas, burritos and mulitas for $ 5 @ pop. Come and get your grub on.

Hey its me again and I’ve been drinking. This place is around the corner from the crib. I ordered a chorizo quesadilla and 2 asada tacos. Quesadilla was on point with ooey gooey goodness and the tacos were jam packed with meat. They have a self serve salsa bar, the green salsa is delish, I fucked up and burnt my food hole off with the red salsa though, so be careful.

This is one of the better taco trucks that’s on Hawthorne Blvd. What’s I like about this taco truck versus others that park in the vicinity is the great tasting meat. Unlike others they use meat that doesn’t have a lot of fat that leaves you feeling like your eating a piece of rubber. Today I had asada tacos and a mulita. A mulita is fusion of a pupusa and quesadilla. After you order there is a table that has plastic bags for radishes, onions, cilantro and the fixings. There’s the line that has the onion, cilantro, radishes, carrots and jalapeños. Moving along you’ll come across the chiles. They have green chile which is mild but has a little spice to it. The red sauce is the hot sauce. It does pack a punch. You pick up your order next to the chiles. Overall I like the food. I like this better than LAX tacos. Tacos el Gordo is my new spot.
