Plenty of shade around here! In a good way though. This park isn’t anything fancy, it’s nestled between homes and a business on a residential block… Inglewood Ave. It serves its purpose… shade, peaceful, playground, basketball court, benches, a couple of BBQ pits, grass, and a restroom(I wouldn’t use it tho… I’ll explain that reason next). I used to come to this park as a kid, not much has changed. Just the addition of the restroom, and playground upgrades.(It’s about time too, those metal slides used to burn some legs up! Hahaha!!) Now that i’m an adult I bring my own children. Like back then, even now you’ll find a few homeless people relaxing here in the park. No need to be afraid or anything. They are relaxing just like everyone else who comes there. They play their music, lay out on a blanket and take a nap, or eat their food. No one can resist the shade here.(Seriously tho, even on the hottest days the trees give a beautiful breeze). But back to the people. Most of the homeless people tend to use the restrooms as a place to clean up, that’s why I won’t go in there or let my kids use it. We just find a local location with a clean one if necessary. This park isn’t big at all, just long and narrow(as someone stated in their review). So if your in the area and just wanna chill, or take your kids to a park where you can actually sit in one spot and watch them without you running everywhere, this is the park to be. **Parent note** ALL of the kids we’ve encountered & parents are very nice and easy to get along with. There’s no ghetto non sense here… you know the hitting, pushing, shoving, cursing, etc. That’s always a plus in my book to know that’s not happing at the park/playground.

Recently added a bathroom(after 40+ years of not having one) Park is decent. Really small and narrow, a simple playground, a basketball court, picnic and BBQ areas, and a senior center(not open) in the back. This park would be a lot nicer if the city took care of the wino and hobo problem… I grew up around the corner so lots of good memories at this park…
