I am so happy I found them! The prices are reasonable and everyone is friendly and welcoming. I went in knowing I wanted a change but had no clue what I wanted. They were open to giving me suggestions and were honest about what would work for me. I left myself in their hands and I was blown away! I got a color correction and a cut. Thank you Luis and his team for making me feel like a princess.

I’ve been getting my hair done by Luis for about 2 years. I’ve gotten atleast 4 Brazilian Blowouts and one Hair Botox by him every 5 months apart. It started very good in the beginning. My hair was growing, healthier, shinier, and there was less breakage. He took care of my hair. I felt like after going to him, my hair was being rejuvenated. I was happy. A woman’s hair is her crown and glory. For me, when my hair is healthy, I’m happy. Unfortunately, the last couple of times I went to Luis, I was disappointed. I’m not sure what changed, but I thought I found someone I could finally trust with my hair. Sad to say I was wrong.
First red flag: One thing I’ve noticed about Luis is that he can be very heavy handed when blow drying my hair. He tends to have it on the hottest temperature and way too close to my scalp which tends to literally BURN the the hair and the scalp. This leaves my scalp, especially at the crown, very irritated and itchy. This has caused patches of my hair burned out and a small bald spot.
2^nd red flag; 3 months ago I had scheduled an appointment for a Brazilian Blowout at 10:00 am. Usually the process for my hair can take up to 3 – 4 hours max. Instead of getting the BB, Luis recommended me to try something new called Hair Botox which could take up to an extra two hours. I was in there for 8 and a half hours! I didnt leave shop until almost 8:00pm! He took care of two other customers who came in hours after me and they were able to leave way before me. Most of the time, I was just left sitting in the chair waiting for him to handle 2 –3 customes at once even though all my hair needed was a blow dry. I thought that was very rude and unprofessional. I don’t understand why he would intentionally leave me last to finish a blow dry, when I was there hours before those other 3 customers. When I asked him about this, he gave me a smart remark and told me that, «I can’t just stay with you the whole time and hold your hand.» I thought that was unnecessary to treat me like that and talk to me like that when I’ve been a paying loyal customer who tips every time. This Hair Botox treatment cost me $ 300 because it was necessary to buy the shampoo and conditioner that comes with it.
It’s been about 3 months since I gotten the treatment.
Final red flag: Luis can be very charming and I tend to let things go, give people the benefit of a doubt, and give 2^nd chances. I scheduled a wash and blow dry hair appointment with Luis just a month after the Hair Botox treatment. I washed my hair prior to the appointment just because I like a good wash especially on my scalp, and I noticed half an inch patches of hair all around the crown of my scalp. I brought this to Luis’s attention. I took photos and showed him. I told him that it’s probably because he is too heavy handed with the blow dryer, especially when its hot, he gets too close to the scalp.
My scalp is very tender and this is the result, short patches of burned damage hair near the crown where Luis is the most heavy-​handed with the dryer at its hottest temperature.
I now suffer from having a very irritated itchy scalp, one small bald spot, and thinner hair due to Luis blow drying my scalp on the hottest temperature and burning patches of my hair out during the process.
Thank you Luis for teaching me to NEVER TRUST ANYONE with my hair EVER again. What hurts me the most is that you lied to me and try to make me feel that it was my fault that I had burned damaged hair patches on the crown of my scalp.

I have been to my favorite spot for the longest time! And will continue to do so! Because of the amazing work that Louis and Pablo to make this girl happy!

Really pleased with my new haircut! I have a hard time trusting people cutting my hair, i only trust my friend with it but she moved away and i haven’t had a cut in over a year. I have thick, wavy hair so it gets to be too much in the summer time. I found this place on Unilocal read the great reviews and decided to give them a try. I am really pleased with the results, the cut, the advice, tips, and customer service I received. I will definitely be going back here again! Thank you Luis!

Even though I live relatively close to Hair Paradise Beauty Salon, I have not had a haircut in over a year (hey, I was busy being a full time grad student, don’t judge) I googled Hair Paradise, read their reviews on Unilocal*perused their website, and decided to give them a try! Not only was Luis able to fit me in and give me a same day appointment, he was fast and to the point and I appreciated his no frills attitude :) My hair looks and feels GREAT and I am definitely going back again! :) If you are in the Inglewood area and looking for an awesome haircut, a great value, all in a relaxed atmosphere and a cool clean salon GIVE THEM A CALL!

Luis did an incredible job with my hair, I highly recommend him! This salon made me feel at home from the moment I walked in, offering me wine, tea or coffee while I waited. They even stayed open late to help me! If your looking for a diamond in the rough, go here! Best place ever!

Pablo was so great on doing my hair. I heard about them on Unilocal and decided to come in. EXCELLENT JOB. I got what I wanted and prices are reasonable here! Pablo kept a conversation and his customer service was EXCELLENT! I will be back soon… The workers here are so friendly … I really recommend this place and ask for Pablo!

Luis is amazing! He knew exact what to do with my hair — he has this razor technique that leaves my hair super luscious and layered perfectly every time. He is professional and attentive and always satisfies the customer’s preferences!

Made an appointment Saturday for that same late afternoon with Pablo. Walked in and was greeted by a man who turns out is Pablo. I tell him I have a meeting with, well Pablo, and he looks a little daunted. He instead looks to his right side and tells me the lady sitting on her phone, feet up on the counter scrolling through her Facebook. I say, no problem. As long as someone helps me. I walk over to this lady, didn’t catch her name since she didn’t bother to introduce herself, with the blonde hair because she doesn’t come to me. That should’ve been red flag number one. She doesn’t say anything, she asks Pablo what I’m there for. Right, cus I can’t speak for myself. The owner comes over and asks both of them something. I then around to ask if there’s something wrong, he says no. I get a nice, thorough wash with a good smelling shampoo (+ 1 star). We walk over to her seat and she proceeds to start my hair, still hasn’t asked me what I want. I then say if she can do soft waves on my hair, she seems to ignore this, but I let it go (red flag number two). She begins, is very rough, pulling my hair as she’s working. Constantly wiping her hands, Idk why. Has a personal conversation with her boo about how she was going to cook for him when she’s home and how he was her daddy (red flag 3). Tf? At this point I should’ve just jammed. Long story short, she flipped my hair, flipped it! Like it was the early 2000’s. Smh. She finishes. Doesn’t say one word to me. Sends me off and tells Pablo to charge me $ 40. They get another star for getting me in and out of this horrible situation ASAP. Safe to say, I’m never going back.

Luis and his staff are great. The go out of their way to make you feel comfortable while in their care. I was granted access to their WiFi, they offered free beverages (water, tea, coffee or wine) and their conversation really helped make me feel at home!
Now, after not doing absolutely ANYTHING to my hair in about 9 years, I knew I wanted a change but I honestly didn’t know what… LUIS listened to my ideas, checked out the pics I showed him and made a personalized recommendation for both the color & cut which turned out FANTASTIC! He was so easy to trust!
I’ll be back for sure!

This man is amazing! I’ve been debating whether or not to cut my hair for months! He made it an easy decision and I am so happy with the cut! I’ve never cut my hair this short, so I didn’t exactly know HOW short I wanted it but he knew exactly what to do! Everybody was so nice inside and it helped put me at ease lol plus it’s super nice inside! Ahh can’t believe it! :D

After searching for a good, inexpensive salon around me I finally decided on this one and I’m glad I did.
I was hesitant to come here as most of the reviews are on coloring or long hair cuts. I wanted my hair extremely short and I got exactly what I asked for. I showed Luis some reference pictures and he didn’t just go and do it, like a true professional he told me what was wrong with my required and explained to me how it should be done.
The salon is vey inviting and Luis has got that humor all of us Latinos love. Highly recommend and will definitely we going back!

This was my first time at Hair Paradise and surly it won’t be my last time. My experience was Amazing! My hair has been super damage, week, brittle and breaking off. No one has been able to help me. Over the past 5 years my hair has hardly grown but I feel very happy and optimistic with my results. Luis and his crew are supper friendly and easy going. I recommend Hair Paradise and Luis expertise to anyone who needs help with their hair. Luis has a saying that I absolutely feel in love with «fear not what you can do to your hair as long as you don’t damage it» words of a truly talented and knowledgeable hairdresser! My daughter also got a haircut and she loved it. Thank you Luis and crew for all your care and attention.

This place is amazing. I just came from my first appointment with Luis. Where has he been all my life? He and the other owner (?) were right on time, wonderfully friendly, and offered me tea, coffee, and wine. I showed him pictures of what I wanted, and Luis recreated the look and made it work with my round face.
I’m definitely coming back here. Luis makes you feel so comfortable — and he’s funny!
The salon is clean, organized, and smells good. They have a great selection of tools and products at their disposal and are not stingy with using them on you. That round thing that goes over your head for heating/​drying is set up so you don’t have to leave your seat. I didn’t use it, but I thought it was cool.
They have a good website and they text you the day before to remind you of your appointment. I love it when businesses embrace modern methods of reaching the customer — it tells me they care about the customer experience.
I have no idea why this place is in Inglewood — it feels like they should be in Venice or Hollywood. If you want high end service and quality at extremely affordable prices, come here. You won’t regret it.

I LOVE HAIR PARADISE! I can’t express enough how much I love this place! I’ve been a customer since 2012 and will continue to visit this hair salon. I had been looking for a new hair salon where I could get my hair cut as perfect as I wanted and I found Hair Paradise here on Unilocal.I have a lot of curly hair and it tends to get crazy at times so a short/​medium hair cut is what I prefer. My first visit was amazing! Luis took me in right away and I got a Brazilian Blowout and a hair cut right after. WOW he works wonders, in less than 5 min he cut my hair in perfect layers and as short as I had wanted it was amazing! So, years later I am still a loyal customer of his. There is no other hair salon I rather go to than here! Now last week I woke up wanting what i thought was «Ombré» hair color but ended up being a «balayage». I had no idea what it was called and Luis knew it as soon as I explained and my hair came out fabulous! Note that he did take me in last minute without an appointment which gives him extra stars if I could because it can be very difficult to get your hair dresser to do a lot in last minute holidays. Of course, his staff is also very helpful and friendly as well! I’m so happy to be a customer here! :)
