I think this is the same place as Performix Elastic Dip(310)590−6121. The phone number is the same so I will assume it is the same place where Chris Leon is the owner or works there. I have been dealing with him going back and forth for at least 6 – 9 months about getting my old Elastic Dip removed. I dont know why I just didnt just look for another place, I guess I just trust referrals so I didnt bother and since he had did my car previously according to the previous owner of my CL500 I just assume they would know and be familiar with their own work. I called him many times to have my car redone, always said he didnt have the colors(metallic grey or satin black) and told me to call back or he would call me back in a few days. Needless to say, it never happened. My most recent encounter with Chris was on 2÷9÷2016, I called to see if He had any satin black in stock he said no, but should have it in a few days, I called in a few days and he didnt have it, So i just asked if he could just remove it, he said yes $ 150 – 200 to remove it, I said when can I bring it by to have the old plasti dip removed, he said any day after 12noon and told me to text him so he can text me the address of the location. I texted him on 2⁄11 and on 2/13, no reply to my text, I left messages and called with no response. Although this place was referred to me by my mechanic, this place is a waste of time, do not follow through and obviously do not want any business. I did schedule plasti dip installation by another shop and during the installation, they told me that whoever did your previous installation did not properly install the plastic dip correctly, they just did enough coats to cover the original color instead of the typical 8 – 12 recommended coats or 3 – 4 gallons of the product. This made it very difficult for them to remove the old coat that Chris Leon of Elastic Dip did. So I guess you get what you pay for.
