How many times do I have to tell them that I want extra cheese in my crunchy tacos? I told them about 6 times and the cashier was laughing away with the manager and I overheard the cashier telling the manager«she wanted cheese«and the manager just shrugged . I get to my job and I open them up and ONLY ¼ had cheese . NEVERAGAIN ! This place is so shitty. Not to mention the green sauce is so watered down .YUCK didn’t even taste like salsa

Keep driving. This location will be closed soon… hopefully! I know it’s fast food, but these people are obviously serving day old everything. The salsa has to be even older than a day, because it’s always discolored. I thought it was a fluke so I went back a second time, but it is definitely this location. They are often out of basic items(i.e. French fries, black beans, etc.), but they will tell you«we don’t serve that anymore» to make it seem as though El Pollo Loco, the company, has discontinued the item, even if it’s clearly on the menu. It’s really a shame.

I held off on giving a review to this El Pollo Loco but I must write a review, last year I went here after work and wanted the whole chicken the manager said the chicken was frozen and will take awhile to defrost. The second incident was on 1-14-2016 once again after work I went to the same location and this time I wanted the chicken chowder and the manager said none was ready and I will have to wait additional 20 minutes. The manager here is doing a poor job anticipating the customer needs and at lunch time the lines are extremely long so I often try not to go here during my lunch break. ELPOLLOLOCOHASGOTTODOBETTER !

Went there today only to find a STAPLE at the bottom of my bowl of beans. I called to make manager aware of it and she asked for me to bring it in. I did and she was very nice about it. She offered to exchange it or refund my money. Since I had eaten most of it I chose to just have a refund. The manager was very concerned and accommodating. She even gave my kids free churros to try to make up for it. This review isn’t to bash this location because I go there often. It is just to say PLEASE pay attention to what you are eating. I’m just so grateful that it wasn’t in anything that my kids were eating.

This Pollo Loco is just horrible now. I’ve been coming here for years because it’s so close to my home. But my experiences have been just horrible here. One of the things that really upset me was that not once not twice. But 5 times now I’ve been getting spoiled house salsa. I eat pollo loco everyday and always get the same thing so I know what the house salsa is suppose to taste like. The last time that went to this location I confronted the manager about the salsa and she had the nerve to say that it was fine. I got so upset that I exploded and after minutes of arguing and after the manager asked one of the employees to check the salsa the other employee admitted and said«oh yes, it’s bad» in spanish… I got do damn angry that this is the fifth time that this happens to me. I’m a freakin regular customer. It’s ridiculous. And after I tried making a Complaint to the hit line number the person that I talked to didn’t seem to care at all. I didn’t receive an apology from anybody. It’s ridiculous that this is an outgoing business till this day… serving spoiled salsa who knows what other things are spoiled… I really wish I could talk to somebody higher up on management unfortunately I wasn’t able to speak to any body else. No one was able to help me. When I asked the GM to give me the number to the Area manager she said«no! We’re not allowed« Uuugh, get it together people. This pollo loco use to be awesome, who knows what happen. Obviously managers aren’t doing their jobs…

A burrito was left out of my drive thru order. I called and after an unreasonable time on hold I was told by a manager that the cost of the burrito would be refunded to my card. That never happened. This is the 2nd time in 3 visits that something has been missing from my order. I’m done with this place.

To start things off I don’t live in Inglewood, I came to this location because I had to serve jury duty. I searched up the nearest fast food locations for my break, and guess what pops up? That’s right«El Pollo Loco» because who doesn’t love«El Pollo Loco» right? So I arrived and the first thing I noticed was the big line to order, and the customers taking a LONGTIME to make up their mind. So when it was my turn in line I ordered the usual, 2 piece dark meat meal. Later on when I received my order and sat down I noticed a good amount of flies. Now we all know we can’t avoid flies coming into a restaurant but I had never experienced so many flies in one restaurant. I don’t usually bring this up but for the people that may want to know, a homeless man came in and asked for money to every single person in the restaurant. I gave him 70cents because I felt bad and it doesn’t really bother me.(For the people that may want to know.) Overall I gave this restaurant only 2 stars because the customer service was ok, other than that I would suggest trying out a cleaner Pollo Loco with better Unilocal reviews.

Oh my goodness. The drive thru was super crowded so my daughter inside(yeah! When you have a adult child you can do that) with our coupons. She gave the the coupon to cashier and told the cashier the selection. The cashier made what she wanted. I told my daughter to take that back in there and get the southwest tostada sala like the coupon said. She returned with a regular tostada salad. The cashier said they didn’t have southwest tostada salad.(Thats the orange tostada) False advertisement at this one. But I really think she was being lazy.

«Chicken Get Yo’ Chicken Heah” — Countess Vaughn My constant procrastination was apparent when I went to this El Pollo Loco to pick up lunch for 48 people-I ordered 1 hour prior to arriving… Pros: The manager was great and really worked with me to get this last minute meal perfect. In additon, all of the staff helped to carry out the large boxes of food to my car. I was able to change my choice of salsas on the spot without that dreaded look of contempt from the cashier. My sides were hot(Mac/Cheese and Black Beans) and the chicken was excellent. I had 2 of my clients ask for more Macaroni and Cheese coupled with a fist fight over the Cilantro dressing. Cons: None. I will admit that I have not set down to eat at this location so I can not speak to that experience. Will go back…

This is not what I am used to. As a fantastic leader in El Pollo Loco with record sales and record volume in our place, I know what it takes to become a real asset for the company. Unfortunately there are still rascial tension in one of the best chicken places in California. Oh my as loving and friendly as I am I have had to deal with orders of chicken uncooked, food dropped on floor and placed back on the prep table and tried to sell to me. Rude or very slow service. Orders that take over 15 — 20 mintues to give to me. I have placed reports in on the store to the manager but the situation is good for one day then back to a very poor place to come get the best chicken in California. There is 100% a racial attitude there even the fact they have token black people there with absolutely no leadership. It show I am not the only person that sees it. This is an insult to the company does eplain that the company as a whole is tolerating cooks giving us uncooked chicken and very poor service because when I worked there it was so well handled those making these offenses knew that the career would end soon. Here at this location many of the local active drugs users and homeless transits are in the store too much holding the bathroom hostage and the atmosphere is very dangerous at times when they are pan-handling at the drive thru windows. Yes staff will deal with it on a few occasion but watch out you may go in on a lazy day staff just will not clear the store of these at times violent people. Yes Inglewood Police nearby are excellent responders and will do an excellent job of keepng us safe but we often become victims of the local drug users and local thugs in the area. I know that as for myself standing up for quality from poor staffing I am labeled by the poor staff and then all of a sudden orders for me are messed up 95% of them thime. It is not the manager it is the crew that they do not have control of. I am very disappointed in this location and I know if I was white or of latin origin I may get service that may come off like they care but these are some of the poorest staff I do not like coming to order from. Here is what is not common and the very first thing I took pride of when I was there. 1. Call back your name in a pleasant tone, and recall your order and present it to you. 2. Ask is there anything else that can be offered to you 3. Thanks for coming hope to see you again. Here they make you feel like feel sorry for us we dont want to take your order and hurry up and get out after we finally give it to you please dont ask for anything else we will make faces like you are annoying them. This happens every single day and oh yes the worst at night. This is a very poor place to get the best chicken in California drive thru works because you dont have to see what is really going on when they prepare your food if it gets dropped or they are not washing their hands you would never know. Shameful way to run a business. Please believe me low score places can make you sick. Is your life worth worth getting sick from a poor staff. Being in a prime spot please continue to report them this is years of rude/racist/nasty staff members this is a reflection of what we will allow. Time to clean house please!

El Pollo Loco’s moto is «Crazy you can taste!» At this one on La Brea just north of Florence in Inglewood it’s more like«Crazy you can see!» Picture this: You walk in and there is spilled food and liquid on the floor and no one is on the way to pick it up! Crazy! The salsa bar was disgusting with no sign of any staff attending to it. that’s just straight nasty! The soda area had lids that look like someone had picked them each up and licked them they were all strewn about with gnats flying around the soda machine! Yuck! There were many people in line and only one cashier who seem to be a nice guy. So nice that he held a full blown conversation with each person as others waited. Crazy! This was almost unbelievable to watch. The manager finally emerged to query a patron who said she didn’t get the tacos she ordered when she was there last. He then returned to the back and left the front of his store in disgusting shape. Note to self: Tell friends to stay away from this one! Where is the Undercover Boss when you need em? – A good sidenote to this story: When I posted my review to the El Pollo Loco website, I received a quick reply apologizing for the condition of the facility, assuring me that this was not normal and that they would address the issue! Great! I certainly can appreciate the response because it’s not the Franchise that was disgusting, it was just this location. Hopefully they’ve cleaned it up.

Very very rude staff! First the person rushes you in the drive thru to order. I forgot to say no pico on my salad so I kept calling while in the long drive thru line. No answer for 5 minutes I finally get thru and the person is rude saying of were really busy I can’t help you. Then I tell the girl in the window my problem and she looks at me like I’m speaking a foreign language. She tells me my total $ 13. For a salad? Oh you have a 2 piece too. No I don’t. She just closed the window in my face! Needless to say I just drove off. You’re customer service is appalling. How dare you treat people like that.

I love Pollo Loco in general and this is the one closest to my office my office so it’s convenient but the customer service sucks! I usually go through the drive thru and apart from a long wait they often seem to forget something! Either an item, utensils, tortillas, the dressing or something else! It takes away the convenience of going though the drive thru if you have to turn around and go inside for something they forgot. The food is usually good though which is why I’m giving them 3 stars overall.

We come here at least once if not twice a month for our company Friday lunch. There are around 15 people we have to cater for and this El Pollo Loco is our go to place. They have always been accommodating to our order and always deliver. We always seem to order at least 3 of their largest pc family meals as well as other little combos. They always seem to work fast to get our order complete and we’ve never had any complaints. They are always friendly and our company loves their chicken. Also, their seasonal items(Shrimp and Carnitas Tacos) are delicious, I wish they would have those on their menu permanently!

Ok so Im rushing trying to get some lunch before I go to work and they were soooooo slow every patron who was called to pick up their food received a «thank you for waiting sorry about that» I dont want to hear that I want to hear your meal is free lol yeah I know… anywho the food was meh Ive been here before and the rating would have been different but for this trip no bueno.
