So I went to this shop the last time I was in town. I looked up nail shops on Unilocal and I saw their pictures and good reviews on here and decided to go.
The place is nice on the inside, but I was kind of put off by the fact I was the only customer there.
Their prices are affordable and the woman who did my nails was very friendly, but she also had a big mouth because she told me the pictures they have in here are not nails that they have done. She said that while it was already too late for me to run out of there lol.
So I let her finish my nails. I got gel and a coffin shape. The shape was bad and she cut them shorter than I had advised.
She also had explicit music playing on her phone the entire time. I mean, if they had a speaker system or something that would’ve been better but it was just playing from her phone.

Looks like the new location is closed. Passed by today and the signage is gone. I had to do a double take to be sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me.
Kieshawn is a good nail tech who specializes in natural nail care. Very humble and down to earth. I hope the shop reopens soon.

Kieshawn is the bomb, professional, nail savy and a people person! She is punctual and knows her craft.
Had worn gel nails. Taking them off and reapplying have weakened my natural nails. After removing my last application of gel and seeing the state of my nails…
She suggested I lay off and did not push a service that would be harmful. I appreciate her honesty. Some nail techs and salons just to make a buck, will push services on you no matter what!
Not Kieshawn, she should be the owner/​manager of this establishment! She cares about her clients nails!

Kieshawn is the best! She’s amazing, everyone is amazing! They use new supplies for each customer so you know you have clean utensils. It’s a fun, family environment ! B L A C K owned which is muy importante! Finally a place for me! I will be back!

This place is WHACK!!! I went here while pregnant and was IN the spa chair all set to get my pedi, when I was asked to get up and move to a regular chair because I bridal party (all of 3 people) had come in and they «reserved» the spa seats. Then on top of that, the very next day the polish on at least 4 of my toes peeled off in one big piece in the shape of my nails!!! I had to «glue» it back on with clear polish. Won’t be returning to this spot.

The nail techs are very talented. The customer service was on point too. Rates are very reasonable.

I was really excited to try this place out especially because it is black owned. I called early this week and made an appointment for TODAY at 10 am. I arrived a few minutes early and it didn’t look like it was opened so I waited until 10 am. I rang the doorbell… no answer. I called… no answer. So I decided to wait in my car until 10:15 thinking maybe they would open. When 10:15 came, I rang the doorbell… no answer. I called again… no answer. As you can imagine that my excitement quickly turned to DISAPPOINTMENT! I am a punctual person and I make sure that when I commit to a time that I am there at that time. Everyone’s time is precious and I feel that it is every unprofessional to accept an appointment yet no one is at the shop when it’s supposed to be open. Again I am every disappointed with my experience, or should I say lack there of, and I will not recommend this salon to any of my friends/​family.

This place is more than cute!
It’s clean and you see it being cleaning while you’re there. I don’t normally see active cleaning in nail salons so this was awesome.
I enjoy the décor and the modern twist it give the place.
My Tech was wonderful, great conversation and didn’t hurt me at all :)
She was really good the art as well.
I cannot wait to come back.

This is my first experience being to a black owned nail salon. It’s very beautiful and clean inside. I love the decorations in the salon and the best part about it is you can get your mani/​pedi and your hair done all in the same place! I can’t wait until they have several different nail techs to choose from. The concept is great! I would love to see a cooler with a choice of tea or water added to the lounge area to bring an even more relaxing experience to the salon. Women love to be pampered and adding light refreshments would be a great plus. They are still in their grand opening process so I cant wait to see the full transformation. I would also like to see a special ladies day or a pamper day where they offer champagne and discounts once a week or once a month. The salon has a very homey feel and I can just see it growing!

I stopped by to check out the grand opening today and this place is so CUTE! I used to go to Dior’s when they were on Centinela. I’ll be back for my mani & pedi really soon!
