This is our second time here. What a find. We have driven by here a hundred times. Skinny margaritas –10, breakfast is wonderful more later.

Love this place. The food is awesome. Enchiladas Rojos are the best next to my grandmas enchiladas which are hard to beat. The only set back for me not going more often is the old crowd. A couple times my family of 4 have settled in and we just get stared at. I feel like the other customers are just waiting for my kids to make the wrong move or sound; which by the way, they do not. It’s so rude to just sit and stare more so for adults. The restaurant can’t help that of course. The PGA crowd however needs to relax and enjoy their meal.

Sorry, can’t review the food and beverages because the service was so poor we ended up leaving. People that came in after us, were seated ahead. Got a basket of chips, but no salsa. Waited 15 minutes without anyone coming by to take our order, so we left.

7 dollars for an overly salted cup of chicken tortilla soup. Service was nice. Standard beer on tap. Also my father paid 16 for a chicken enchilada dinner? No a la carte menu so I couldn’t just order 1 taco. With so many Mexican restaurants in the Coachella Valley I would think they would want to be competitive with their pricing.

Back for another big golf tournament and we can’t pass up eating at Rosamarillo’s at least two times while we are here! This last trip was no different(well, we ate here THREE times this trip!). The food is fabulous at Rosamarillo’s — Not your every-day-strip-mall mexican — this place is the real deal! For starters, their salsa is flavorful and the chips are fresh! We always get the guacamole(regular size — 6.95) which has the MOSTFRESH avocados I’ve ever tasted(well, yes … we’re in California — of COURSE they are!). This time we tried the Queso Fundido($ 10.95). Rajas peppers ROCK! It’s got chorizo in it and Im usually a little leery of chorizo because it can be so greasy — this is not greasy at all. So good! I usually try something different for dinner but this time I just switched between the PGA Combo($ 12.95) with the taco, enchilada, rice and beans, and the Big Horn Combo($ 19.95) which has a chile relleno, red enchilada and a hard shell taco. The tacos are super crispy and the chile relleno is DEFINITELY hand prepared! The Camarones ala Diabla were tasty as well($ 18.95) — with a really nice spicy sauce! Those prices may look heavy to you, but the portions are out of this world!(read: we were hungry — but you can EASILY split these plates between 2!). All the plates come with some fresh salad greens and pretty tomatoes. The thing about this place is you can tell they take the time to prepare your meal. It’s never just«thrown together». They have a full bar and know how to make a margarita! Any kind of tequila you want and fresh lime juice and they won’t break the bank!

I’d give this place a full 5 stars… IF they did an updated renovation. The place looks old. The food was really good, margaritas were awesome. Service was average. Had to ask twice for a few items. Not many people in there. But the food was super authentic Mexican.

I’ve eaten Mexican food in every state west of the Rockies and this place tops them all. Try the burrito de pollo. Small friendly, generous with the booze in the margaritas. Excellent!!!

I Live locally in the area and has not been for quite awhile. I thought I would give them a try. I called on a Saturday night at 8:40 to see if they were still open and they said they closed at 9. I got there at 8:48 and they said they were closed. I told them that I was the one that just called and told them I was on my way. They offered me take out. I went down the street to their competition and had a great sit down meal.

Where do I begin? Ok the dinner was good BUT so many things are wrong about this place. The house margarita was really bad. We sent them back and were told that there was nothing wrong with them so we ordered a Cadillac margarita. It was good, but the way we were treated was insulting. My friend ordered a vodka/tonic. 10 minutes later they brought vodka/soda. Sent that back and they brought vodka/flat tonic. They took forever to take our order. There is NO a la carte at this restaurant. Just a bad feeling here. We are not that hard to please, but just a bad feeling here and this please isn’t cheap.

Great food and great drinks. Usually can walk in and grab a table as well. I HIGHLY recommend the Jalapeño Margarita or Skinny Marg

Food was excellent. Very generous portions and it was tasty. Price was more on the expensive side but worth the price with the amount they gave you. Plenty of parking in a plaza shared with Ralph’s and CVS. I ordered the breakfast burrito(bacon, scrambled eggs, chorizo and chile verde sauce and sour cream) and boyfriend ordered chilaquiles w/2 sunny side eggs. Came yesterday around 1130 and it was not crowded at all. We had a party of 7. My only complaint here was the service. I’m a server myself and it took forever for us to put our order in. We had asked for several things as well and they kept forgetting about us or not wanting to come to us. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt because maybe it’s their off day and I know what it’s like but there were just too many things going wrong. Other people came in and their order was being taken before us as well. The other staff was nice but I’m not too sure what was going on with our server. Food took a really long time to come out as well. But once our food came out, it felt like we were just completely ignored for the duration of our meal. It’s okay though. We were only hungry and just happened to be nearby. Probably won’t come back because of the service we received.

Food was OK especially the carnitas but service needs to be improved big time. Also it’s a little bit pricey…

Pretty solid Mexican food. Chips and salsa are quite good, and so are the drinks. And, the people are nice! Okay, not the very best, but very good anc very consistent. I always make it a point to stop by when I’m in town.

Not sure about the other food but their carnitas is delicious. Salsa is good too. It was crowded this week end so service is a little slow… it’s. 3.5 stars, not quite 4 yet…

I hate writing this. I used to like this restaurant. Taco Tuesday was a habit. As each year goes by, the tacos get smaller and smaller, there is less and less meat and the price went up. Basically you get a plastic bowl of cheese and shredded lettuce. I also ordered a Cadillac margarita, that’s all I said, they brought out a very large margarita and when the bill Came it was $ 25! Insane. No mas

So we had to order our food to go so this is based solely on food and not the actual act of eating inside: We ordered 5 different plates but they all disappeared quickly so carnitas plate is what I ate: It’s a Friday only special so I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. They give you a generous portion of this tasty fried goodness. The best part was a burnt part that had tons of flavor like it was crack carnitas… def a must get if your there on Fridays Beans were tasty made just right, the red rice was nice and flavorful, moist and super fluffy. My gripe is with the flour tortillas they give you, thin appear store/machine made, lack flavor, essence, and rubbery. Not what you expect from a flour tortilla… if it’s one thing they can work would be to fix this issue. We also had chips salsa and Guacamole… chips seem to be made in house and had a good fresh tasting crunch and flavor, salsa was mild and watery but had enough flavor to compensate for the less then chunky status. Guacamole was a little heavy on onions and light on heat,(but im assuming this is to cater to the masses of non-hot chili eating folks nearby) politically correct way of saying older white folk nearby hahahahahaha… Overall solid food, will def try and eat inside one if these days after the Humana Challenge is over cuz it was packed!,

First time visiting this restaurant. We had a local company event and we stopped by to get a catering order. Their prices were scattered and they tried to upcharge us until we crunched some numbers and told them we wanted trays instead. Overall, they ended up getting our order out in a timely manner and the food was great. I’d rate higher if they were more prepared with a price menu and didn’t charge extra for every addition like salsa. Great mexican spot but salads are not their specialty.
