Midway Vacuum & Janitorial

Not good ! Went here to get replacement belt (s) and left my Bissell Cleaner for service as it was working fine but lacked front suction or some such. Anyway, gal seemed knowledgeable but sold me two wrong belt sizes for my Eureka … and another. I was able to trade with my neighbor so all was well. Took two weeks b4 I got a call re: Bissell repair. She told me it was some random part and that it would be $ 175.00 I only paid 220.00 for the machine new and it was only 4 month old. I indicated I would just pick it up but was told there would be a service charge for diagnosis. Since I’d be paying more than I bought the unit for — they kept it. I noticed it’s for sale as I visited the New Life thrift store next door for a donation and glanced in.
I feel as though they swindled me out of a carpet cleaner. What would you think?

Really great!!! I went in for a small brush for my vacuum which came with an inadequate brush for mt baseboards and I pointed at a black brush and said «I want that.» She said, «I think you want a white one. because it won’t leave a black mark on your baseboards.» She was right and I was glad she pointed me in the right direction. I was really glad to «discover» such a great place.

Altho there are other repair shops in my area, I don’t mind traveling 25 extra minutes to this location for vacuum repair. The store is family owned. Everyone has always treated me well — respectfully and honestly. The rates are very reasonable. When needed my vacuums (4) are always repaired quickly, This is the way a business should be run!

Impressive array on old vacuum cleaners lining the walls of the shop! This is an awesome old school repair shop. :-)
I came in as I broke the switch on an old Eureka vacuum and very helpful lady installed the replacement for me on the spot. She also inspected the vacuum and found the belt attached to the agitator needed replacing and removed a ton of hair on the agitator. Their rates are very reasonable as I walked out of their with a vacuum which is working much better for under $ 25.
I am very impressed by the technical expertise, customer service, and the fair rates.
