Denny’s

They have slow service but what do you expect at 2am on a Friday night. You get what you pay for and get some hospitality. Fun place to be with a group of friends.

I only give this location 2 stars because of the server who we had to beg to help us. Her name is Gloria. Worst customer service ever!!! I refuse to ever go to this location again!!!

My family loves Denny’s. The restaurant is always clean and the employees are friendly and expedient. The manager is always on top of things and the food and prices are better than IHOP. The breakfasts and creativity of the menu are wonderful. You can’t go wrong with the Denny’s on Hwy 111 and Monroe, in Indio. We eat there often and have never been let down. The shakes are great as well as their biscuits and gravy and omlettes and platters.

I’m not exactly sure if once the remodel happened if they got rid of the staff that had been here for years. Perhaps I came in on a day that they had off but none the less the service has gone to the dumps. I come here not necessarily for the amazing service but more for the food. Let’s me real the one server in particular that I had did not pay attention to the basic things I asked for. At least in the past the ladies that had taken care of us in the past had it together. It’s safe to say that I may not be coming back especially considering that you can get food from any where now a days.

Worse customer service ever! I haven’t even received my food and I’m already writing a bad review and I don’t even really write reviews …

Had time today to stop in before work. I had about 50 mins but actually doubted they could sit and serve that quick. So i have it a shot but ended up leaving. They seated me next to the front entrance which is a bad spot. As the line got longer to be seated i was staring at the rear ends of customers. I mean as i looked beyond my menu i literally had people leaning against my table. I’m sure breakfast would have been great but having ass along the table as I’m eating was not appealing at all.

Wish I’d gone to Unilocal before we went through the doors. At 8:00 pm we go in and one girl is busy processing payments of 4 different customers. No problem. We have patience and want until she’s finished. No sign of other wait staff during this time. She’s done then points to a booth and directs us to seat ourselves, no menus given, no drink order taken… We go and sit and wait 3 or 4 minutes before she comes with 2 menus and cutlery. Drink orders taken (2 water), she goes and after waiting 10 — 12 minutes or more without seeing her at all, we left.
As a comparison, we ate at Denny’s in Yuma only 2 nights ago with the same order we we were going to have tonight and we were EATING by now! We told staff on the way out the door why we were leaving (there were 2 waitresses) and they said nothing, didn’t apologize, ask any questions, do diddly squat except look at each other.

Horrible horrible horrible ! Can management seriously clear house on all the employees and hire people who actually want to work! Service was horrible! Food was disgusting ! They told my husband and I they «ran out of noodles!» Who the hell runs out of noodles !?! It took our waitress 20 minutes to tell us that! Our food should have been out by then. It was not crowded at all. My daughters pizza had no cheese on it, just sauce. Seriously disgusting! This place needs to get shut down. I will NEVER come to this place ever again and I will tell everyone my horrible horrible experience. Whoever runs this place seriously needs to look at all these bad Unilocal reviews and fix the problem. How embarrassing for a business to be known as a «horrible place to eat». Ridiculous !!

I looove Denny’s but this certain location is definantly not my fave…:/ the service here is always pretty horrible and the food tastes pretty bad… I can say I love the milkshakes there pretty good…(when it doesn’t take 15 min to get)

Leave Denny’s alone. It’s cheap food open 24 hours. I really want them to get a good, strong wifi going. Other than that, I like Denny’s.

So this is an update review. This dennys has always had terrible service. But last night it took the crown. We had a group of 8 and they only brought us waters. After an hour no one came by. So I just helped myself to more water since they didn’t seem to care. If you want slow service and terrible attitude by the staff come here. I was thinking maybe it’s not a dennys maybe it’s one of those restaurants where u get bad service on purpose. But yes it a dennys with terrible service.

This place always has bad service. No matter what time you come. And it’s not the girls that works here’s fault. It’s the management. They never like to have extra staff. I know because I’ve asked management before. We went right know and and waited and waited. They say is down and never even gave us our drink. They gave us one round of water and that’s all we got. We ended up walking out and so did another group next to us. Yeah pretty pathetic service. They had two girls for the whole restaurant. They were the hosts, cashiers and servers. It’s pretty sad. They lost a lot of business tonight.

I wouldn’t recommend coming here at all. Firstly, their food is kind of nasty. I don’t know if every Denny’s has terrible tasting food, but this one does. Their eggs and bacon tasted very bland, and the pancakes didn’t taste that great either. Secondly, the service is very slow, and the restraunt gets very packed. Overall, if you’re looking for a good place to eat, you’re much better off going somewhere else.

This is the worst Denny’s in the world, is slapy, carpet like shit, service 3^rd grade, food horrible, really the worst, I can understand workers need a job, but the chain is a Chaim really, come on you guys make good money, if you can’t have good service, let somebody else doit, really the worst, carpet floors with years of stain. Seats with duct tape, smells like shhhhhhhhht

Horrible! Denny’s is know for fast cheap food. Well not here! If your in a hurry go somewhere else like the in-​n-​out across the street.

Dirtiest Denny’s I’ve ever been to the booth was riped out the tables and floor was dirty and the waitress were so unprofessional arguing in front of clients regarding what section they had to take the order !!
Never again!

Breakfast was great. Ultimate skillet with broccoli was beast breakfast I have had in 3 weeks on the road.

Waiting for 30 minutes, asked host again how much longer to wait and she ignored me. Awful place to go.

Always good to have breakfast for dinner :)
Good service, tasty food, and always affordable…

It’s your typical Denny’s however we love this Denny’s as we like to meet really early in the morning and there definitely is a regular crowd that we always see here. I was surprised by the other review because our experience has been quite the opposite in that the ladies are always so cheerful and pleasant and know our tastes and have the cream & the honey ready before I can even ask for it with our coffee — which is actually really good. Can’t go wrong with the fit slam or any of their salads. Gloria is our favorite so we try to go in on days she is working.
