We have ordered here several times. Usually it’s very tasty. However, I feel like a few things have changed since they first opened. Tends to happen to a lot of places. The Bourbon chicken was amazing the FIRST time we had it. Slight brownish color, great flavor, but NOTANYMORE. The last 3 times we’ve got the bourbon chicken, it’s been bright pink & dry. No flavor. Not what it was when they opened. Very disappointing. The general Tso chicken is very good. Egg rolls are always tasty. Crab Rangoon is ok. The bbq pork is delish. We’ll definitely order again, just NOT the bourbon chicken anymore.

It is what it is: a typical Chinese take-out with everything you’d expect to find on such a menu. It was my first time, so I went with my go-to of Singapore Mei Fun and it did not disappoint. Perhaps a bit over-peppered, but everything was well-cooked and the noodles were appropriately soft with the right amount of texture. The lady up front was nice and kept the steady flow of the lunch crowd moving through, whether serving the few tables or bagging the carry-out. Easy and affordable Chinese in a convenient location.

We are not usually a big fan of Chinese take-out places, but we have really taken a liking to this place. It’s clean and the staff here is polite and courteous. We like ordering from the lunch menu; the entrée comes with soup for very reasonable prices, and our container is always filled to the top. They also use fresh ingredients and decent-quality rice that is freshly made.

Came here as a first date with my boyfriend. We decided to try something new and I love chinese. I had the shrimo in lobster sauce and he had the fried chicken wings. The food was very good, however the presentation shocked me. My shrimp was served in what looked to be a to go container and our food was on foam playes. While looks werent that good the food was amazing and fairly priced, will be coming back!

Orange chicken was tasty. Hunan beef was excellent and not too spicy. Kung Pao chicken was good too. Large portions provide sufficient nibbles 2 hours after the first serving. Dining area was clean and employees were very attentive to our satisfaction. We will probably do take-out in the future. The plastic cutlery was flimsy. Beverages are sold by the can or bottle. No fountain beverages.

Its okay believe it or not Chinese is had to do! some do it better than others. I’m gonna give it 3 stars because I only did the shrimp fried rice! I’m gonna leave it there because its an easy to pull off kind of dish! It was hot made to order and hot when I got it home. This place will work for my fried rice cravings.

Hungry on the east side of Indy? Well, there are plenty of affordable places to choose from. And on this work lunch excursion with stomach growling, I drove to jimmy johns for my usual. Pulling into the parking lot though, I spotted the newish adjoining Chinese restaurant. Took a quick look at the menu taped up on the window, and I decided to give it a go. Inside, I walked up to the counter and placed my to-go order for the Hunan chicken. Guy behind the counter was prompt and courteous. There are a few tables for eating in, and there was a couple seated at one. There’s one TV and a huge fridge with quite the assortment of beverages to choose from. My order came out piping hot and quick in a brown paper bag. It was still nice and warm back at work. I managed to devour it all in the confines of my cubicle. Definitely a filling meal, and all for $ 6(incl tax)! Only a nap afterwards would have made my lunchtime better! Giving it a 5 for a no-frills, cheap and tasty Chinese lunch option. Just don’t forget to grab any sauces and plastic silverware on the counter for takeout orders! Must have dipping sauce with my egg roll.

I’m within walking distance of this place so it’s a regular spot for me when I have that hankering for the General’s chicken! Nothing outstanding in the way of any other counter service Chinese restaurant, clean as of yesterday, kitchen staff is friendly and very quick. Prices are reasonable or on par with other similar places. They could use a better and cheaper drink selection, the bottle price or can price in some cases is extremely expensive. Never a deal breaker for me but just a thought. So far the General Tso’s chicken, seasame chicken, hot and sour soup, egg drop soup and shrimp egg rolls have been of high quality. A few more grilled beef items on the menu couldn’t hurt but all of the standard fare is present. You won’t regret stopping in to satisfy your Chinese food craving but won’t really be blown away by this type of place either.

This place is easy to miss when driving by, but the friendly staff and great food won’t let you forget them. The food is fresh, not the normal heavy greasy food form you neighborhood hole in the wall chinese food establishments. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The kitchen is open and visible from the dinning area. I love that you can sit and watch you food being prepared. No more wondering about what is happening in the kitchen :) This is a weekly trip for my family.

«Bland». Honestly, there isn’t much more to say. It’s one of those places where the menu is huge but every dish tastes the same. To me, the fried rice is a good barometer for a Chinese fast food joint. It’s tough to screw up and I can usually eat it for days. Well… they screwed it up. It’s just tasteless. It is to Chinese food what a coloring book is to art. Guess what? The Moo Goo didn’t help. Is this awful? No. I’m reasonably sure it was real chicken and I didn’t get sick. But why go back? This may not be a location rich in Chinese options, but I’d head to Sandra’s any day of the week over this.

Typical hole in the wall chinese restaurant. Because the name is «wok roll» I was expecting sushi. Absolutely no sushi menu. As disappointed as i was, I ordered the pad Thai anyway and it was just awful. Very bland, colorless, basic, nothing blew me away. And the staff was not very nice.

This place is yummy and very reasonably priced! I ordered the General Tso Chicken lunch and dinner and was very pleased with both! They also have good Crab Ragoon. Overall, I love this place and plus the name is catchy!
