Always love places like this. Like a yard sale, but the stuff isn’t used. I have best luck finding out of the usual kitchen utensils and crafty stuff. I’ve also had good luck with finding some fun colored bathroom and bedroom linens and such. They do have some great rugs and other bits of décor if you know what you are looking for, have your measurements and colors down and are ready to go!

Maybe I have been lucky, but I have made 6 different purchases of top quality goods at great prices. From luggage, to fry pans, to shower curtIn rod, to rug, to glasses, to bedding. It is often hit or miss here, but my lucky streak continues. Just bought a Water Pic shower head that WalMart had for $ 60 for $ 24,

I’ve been a fan of Tuesday Morning since a child when my mom bought me an unusual bunny lamp for my room. When seeking a gift or a little retail therapy, I’ll pop in and see what’s new. If you’re lucky, you can score big on their markdowns which are color coded to indicate the savings. I grabbed my Christmas wrap after the holiday for pennies on the dollar. Some of my favorite things are the gourmet food aisle with spices, oils, mixers and candy and the beauty aisle, where you can splurge on a large scented hand soap for less than $ 5. I’m also a sucker for the kitchen accessories, despite the lack of space in my SoBro home. My most recent purchase was a decorative jar to hold the chocolate espresso beans for my boss’ birthday, $ 2.99 — not bad at all.

It’s mostly close-outs. It’s like an upscale Big Lots, things that were upscale and«boutique» that didn’t sell, being reduced. But whereas Big Lots has mostly junk, here it’s mostly high quality, and gourmet stuff, that just didn’t sell. They have clothing, household, bed-and-bath frou-frou items. Some lawn/garden stuff. Some toys, fitness products, men’s clothing/accessories. A small electronics section. Most Tuesday Morning locations have a good selection of kitchen pots/pans/utensils. Though only a small selection of food/condiments/candy/coffee. As the name implies, they usually get new inventory on Tuesday mornings. The staff are noticeably more professional and helpful than at Big Lots. (That said, I still do more shopping at Big Lots, for the deals, than at Tues Morning.)
