Went there for a pizza, but the pizza oven was broken. The bartender/waitress, Amy, more than made up for the disappointment with her wonderful service. Additionally, she recommended the Ruben as an option and it was awesome.

I stopped for lunch and was happy with my choice. The Cajun steak bites are fantastic! Service was also Stellar. I’ll be going back.

I’ve always had good service at Traders –it’s close to work so it’s always the spot for impromptu get togethers. The place is roomy-with a couple pool tables, a jukebox, and some video games. Lots of places to sit and a huge bar to scoot up too. The food is good. Typical bar food-potato skins, wings, etc. I always opt for the appetizer platter so I can get a variety. It’s a great deal for less than $ 15. They’ve got drink specials and specialty shots to choose from. Prices are reasonable and service is decent. Traders is as to be expected.

This was a last minute decision after a mistake with our movie times at the nearby theater. So we decided to eat dinner first. Despite the weak reviews on Unilocal,I decided to give this place a try. I was really disappointed. Everything tastes like the same fried batter with the flavor what’s inside the batter totally masked. I should have tried something that isn’t fried, but I have a weakness for pub food. I got the fried pickles first, which are not pickle chips. They are sorta like the sandwich stacker pickles. Cut length wise and flat/thin. Makes them less of a finger food. I prefer the small pickle chips. I got the fish and chips as my actual meal, and I couldn’t tell a difference in taste between the pickles, fish, and fries. All were very greasy, and the batter was too thick. I also felt the fish was over cooked. One plus side, we had a very polite server. I gave her a good tip because she’s not the cook and her service was excellent. Oh, and the place was pretty much empty, which I can understand given the food. Edible, but not enjoyable.

Overall, this place is just OK. Food was decent but nothing to write home about, and it was your typical bar with lots of open space, TVs and pool tables. Service was pretty good, and the beer selection was pretty good. We went on a Wednesday, and all their draft beers were $ 3. I had the tenderloin, which was fine but nothing spectacular. If you’re wanting to have typical bar food and kick back with a couple beers, this place will do just fine.

Let’s not go overboard here and try to compare Trader’s Mill to something that it’s not. This is a local bar with TVs, a few pool tables, bar food and a lot of alcohol. When you evaluate it on that level, Trader’s Mill is a nice place to grab a few drinks and watch some sports. If you’re looking for an amazing night out or great food, this probably isn’t the place. But as far as local bars go, it pretty much has everything you want.

I just ate an excellent meal! I got their Saturday evening special of $ 11.99 for any of their steaks with two sides. So I ordered a 10 oz. New York strip steak with Traders Winds chips and a baked potato. It was not too busy with lots of TVs.

So disappointed. We have had dinner here several times in the past. We stopped in on an early Saturday around 7pm. Our server was friendly and attentive. Service was good, and as a former server, I’m a harsh critic. However, the food was lackluster. Everything seemed to be purchased in bulk and cooked in the fryer. No imagination, basic pub food. In the past it was always really good. May stop in for a beer but that would be it.

Excellent Bar. Great Service. Waitress are very friend and bring the food out very quickly. The beer is very cold and the staff are very warm and friendly. Great place to take your spouse or girlfriend or just to watch a game on tv

The staff is friendly and the whole menu is awesome and the food is delicious! TV’s everywhere so there isn’t a bad seat in the house! Only thing that would make this place better is a shuffleboard!

When our server told us the steak special($ 9.99 for any steak dinner) I chose the fillet and it was fantastic! Done perfectly(medium) and served quickly in spite of a large crowd. Our server was amazing and attentive, checking on us at all the right times. I will definitely be coming back!

I want to rate this place higher, I do, I could really use for this place to be awesome as location is really great for my friends and I, but I just can’t. I believe there is definitely potential to this place and I hope the owners read the reviews and try and make some changes. Here are my random thoughts… Service is hit or miss, usually friendly but often times pretty slow. Drink specials are OK, not great, but not horrible. Food is mostly disappointing, one exception being the garlic knots, those were surprisingly delicious. I mean, the food isn’t always necessarily bad tasting but not worth at all what they want to charge for it. Also, the thing that blew my mind is the $ 1.75 upcharge for french fries, what!!! I mean, a small upcharge if you really need to [I guess] but almost $ 2 is excessive when they are perfectly average fries. Made my sandwich almost $ 12 which tasted fine but not $ 12 good. Bah. My husband had similar sentiments on his food the last few visits and we just left feeling underwhelmed and that we paid too much. It should be a sign that they weren’t very busy on a Friday night… I do feel this place can be turned around, it has a nice large bar and pool tables, bring the service and food quality up [especially this] and the business will follow!

I can see why the other people reviewing this gave it a terrible review. I work a mile away. I have 60 exact minutes to eat my lunch and return to work. When we arrived(around 11:45am), we stood there for longer than we should have had to without being acknowledged. So we sat ourselves. We sat at the table for a few more minutes before our drink order was taken. Establishment was not even near half-capacity. At first I was going to order a burger, but once I looked at the time, me and my guest both decided to just order sodas and chips-n-dip. When the waitress came, we checked with her first to make sure these would be relatively quick to make. My guest and I are both former service industry workers so we didn’t want to put the restaurant in a rush, let alone put ourselves in one either. 25 minutes goes by and we still do not have our food. My guest walks up to the bar to see where our waitress is, because she is nowhere visible in this wide open establishment. She then sees our food just sitting at the window, ready to go… but being neglected by our server that was informed we were in a bit of a time crunch. The head bartender tells us she will try and track our server down. My guest rejoins our table, and that’s when we notice that the group of gentlemen that came in 10 minutes after we did actually have food, but no drinks… same server. Finally, several minutes later our waitress comes out, fuming mad, with our receipt and someone else brings us our food, which is now in to-go boxes. But of course she just walks away… so then we are stuck waiting for our receipt and our card back. Once we realize we now have 5 minutes to get clocked back in to work, we go up to the bar to be greeted by our disgruntled waitress again and yes… we still leave her a $ 2+ tip, though she did nothing for us other than bring us a water and a soda. We had to break rules and eat lunch at our desks at work. Once my coworker got to her desk, her nachos were completely soggy and gross and we had only had them in our possession for 10 minutes. As much as I wanted to love this place, I cant imagine referring a friend or ever returning myself. Such a shame. ***Side note. My coworker is PREGNANT. If she would have not been pregnant, we would have been obligated to skip lunch and screw over the restaurant by refusing our food which is what I really would have loved to have done, because they deserved it.

I’m really surprised this place has managed to stay in business. I purchased a Groupon or Living Social coupon(I can’t remember which), and it brought me in after work one day. The food was atrocious. The nachos were extremely dry. They put shredded cheese on them, and broiled it, and then the added pieces of dry chicken, and a scattered a few pickled jalopenos on top. Gross. The entrée was so unmemorable that I can’t even remember what I had. There are so many better places to eat, I’m surprised anyone would want to spend their money or time here.

This is not the best pub I’ve ever been to, however it does hold a special place in my heart; it’s one of the first places I hung out with Dillon before we were offically together. A whole lot of flirting happened at this bar and grill. :P Nowadays, we(Dillon and the original crew of friends from those days) visit Trader’s Mill Grill & Bar once every other month to drink beer, play pool, grub on some greasy, fried food and catch up on life. I wouldn’t recommend this bar unlees you are just coming here to either play pool or watch a game. The food isn’t that great and the service is meh.

Just came here for the first time. Haven’t even ordered yet, but I’ll never come back. Walking in, the first two waitresses were miserable. I sat down, ordered a Guiness and after one sip, it tasted like there was something wrong with it. I asked for something else and she took it away and brought the same beer back to me to say the bartender said if I wanted something else I’d have to pay for it. Food just came. Fish was raw with plenty of bones and sour cream for my potato was watery. Typical if youre looking for poor service and crappy bar food.

Nice and open concept. I like the high ceilings and simple décor. The waitress was very nice and took good care of us. We had already eaten at another restaraunt, so we didn’t order food here. But, from what I could see it looked good. The bathroom could use some updating, looks like someone had fun with a pocket knife on the walls. We had a pretty good time playing pool too.

Average this and average that. Nothing special here folks. Pub grub and decent drink specials. Cool to watch a sports game here. But you don’t come here for the food or the service. Food: 2⁄5 — Flat buns, underseasoned meat. Pizza is pretty good though. Service: 2⁄5 — Slow but pretty friendly when they get to you. Ambiance/Location: 2⁄5 — Typical neighborhood sports bar. I’ve had better is right.

This bar and grill is right near my work place and when we had a younger crowd in the office, we used to go out here quite often for drinks after work. It is definitely a sports bar, with a huge open plan. There are pool tables and a few games, and many tables inside, and a small patio outside. The drink specials are not bad, and the wait staff is nice, courteous, and usually right there to help you. I have had a couple different items on their menu, and I really enjoyed their wings. My boyfriend and I came here after a movie to watch some of the March Madness games, and found a table with a TV for both of us to watch, which was nice. We ordered the wings, which were very good. The buffalo sauce was spicy and hot but not too much. The crowd here is also very interesting. It ranges from the mid-twenties all the way up. Everyone seems to have found something they like here. I would definitely recommend it as a place for bar food and to grab a drink with friends while watching a game.

I couldn’t have been more ignored had I been wearing camouflage. Sheesh! And when the waitress did pay attention, the service was slow as molasses. It was loud, hard to see the tv screens, and just not a great eating atmosphere. The saving grace was the Cajun chicken sandwich … Absolutely delicious! The kettle fries weren’t too bad either.
