Service is usually descent and when it isn’t they usually make it right. Cant ask for to much more

We only visited the bar. $ 4 Long Islands, need I say more? And Ernest the barkeep with more personality than legally allowed, makes everything with a kick.
A good time was had by all…

I read a few other reviews about this location and I am not sure if it was because I went on my lunch break when it was not as crowded, but I had good service. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and asked my seating preference. It was only me so I chose the bar. I had my laptop so I could do some work and I know that sometimes it is hard to get in and out of restaurants within the time frame of an hour lunch break. I had no issues connecting to their Free Wi-​Fi.
My server was the lady working the bar (I am so bad with names) and she was great! My food was out in about 10 minutes and as always delicious.
Friday’s never disappoints. I have become addicted to their burgers. OMG! Why are they so good? I got the All American Stacked Burger with fries. Listen… it should be called the All American Smack Somebody Burger because it is that good. It is a double burger with all the best toppings, cheese (yah, of course) and bacon. Where there is love, there is always bacon. I could not possibly finish it because I ordered a meal that came with an appetizer and I was filled to the brim. Friday’s has been around for a long time and unlike several other chains that have gotten boring, their menu just keeps getting better and better.
Save room for dessert? The Tennessee Whiskey cake is Yum-​diddly-​umptious (hope I did Willy Wonka proud with that spelling)! It’s a gooey toffee cake, with some kind of custardy glaze, pecans and a scoop of ice cream.
I am trying to make it back with a friend before the endless apps are gone, but then again I won’t be able to get the burger… oh decisions… decisions.

CARRY OUT SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! THEY DON’T COME TO YOUR CAR AS ADVERTISED, they lock the carry out door so you have to walk all the way inside and wait at the bar (despite your age) & to top it off they’re rude and treat their customers horrible. TGIFridays has always been my favorite restaurant so I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but I refuse to eat there anymore, period, after the multiple bad experiences I’ve encountered.

The food was delicious; the service was horrendous. First, they brought out my husbands burger, and that looked good. At the same time, they brought me the wrong steak with the correct sides. After already trying my food, the waitress came back and told me they brought me the wrong steak, and she took it away. At this point, we were also missing our daughter’s kid’s meal. The waitress told us that they made me the wrong steak, that my steak was in the window, and that my daughters chicken strips are being made.
A few minutes later, she came back and told me my steak was taken to the wrong table, and that they would need to make me a new steak. My daughter’s meal was brought out maybe 15 minutes later while the manager was at our table apologizing and explaining what happened. He said he’d comp my meal and my daughter’s meal. We ordered the pick 2 for $ 16, the kids meal, and 1 lemonade.
When they brought us the bill, nothing was comped. My husband asked for the manager. When he brought the bill back, they comped mine but not my daughter’s, so the bill was still $ 20. My husband gave up and paid it so we could just leave. Never again will we eat there!

Worst service i have ever had! Josh was our server. Took our drink order and took about 20 minutes to get our drink. Finally took our order. When food came out I asked for another refill and kids water. I finished my meal and had to ask where my refills were. Will never return here.

Service at this place has been terrible each time we have gone. I have had nothing better than mediocre food. The presentation is not great. It does not live up to other TGI Fridays we have been to. Sucks that it’s the closest one to our house, as we will not frequent this place again.

Okay let’s start from the beginning…
They do not do call ahead or reservations… Which is okay because we went fairly early but there was 8 of us and a high chair.
When we got seated we waited for a server who never showed, I had to end up asking a hostess to hunt one down for us because we had plans following dinner.
We all ordered different endless apps and shared them amongst each other. This was a special they were running and the entire reason that we chose this restaurant to begin with.
Needless to say our server felt terrible about the beginning and really tended to our every need until we left. She kept the apps coming… More than we could eat and we got sent home with some awesome food. Off to a rocky start but our server did it right and turned the experience around. Thank you!
Warning: TGI has changed the recipe on the tater skins, they are smaller, crunchier and much better, in my opinion anyways, my husband was not too pleased.

Fast, quality service. Friendly, polite servers. Ann was a great server.
There are a few TGI Friday’s around town but this one was one of my better experiences. Even during peak hours, this one doesn’t have the ridiculous wait that the Avon or downtown locations have. We also experienced fast, quality service at this location — something we definitely didn’t get at the downtown location. The servers here were very friendly and polite. The server we had this past visit, Ann, was superb. She was friendly and attentive. I would recommend coming to this location over the downtown location (the Avon location has since closed). It’s not that far from downtown and you will have a much better experience here.

Run of the mill chain restaurant but they had a few unexpected choices on the menu. Food was good and well prepared. Prices reasonable. Service was good and it was clean.

We normally go to the Fridays in Avon but since they have closed that location, we went to this one on Friday for dinner.
We were told that the bar was open seating so sit were you like. We went to a booth along the wall. The bartender brought us menus and took our drink order. When I opened my menu 2 bugs, I believe they were fruit flies, came out of it. And there was one already dead on the first page. We got up & told the bartener to cancel our drinks and told her why. She said nothing!
Needless to say we will not be back.

We had a terrific lunch today at the 38^th St. Friday’s. We haven’t been here for a long time but I wanted the Jack Daniels sauce and sweet potato fries. The service in the family dining area had gotten intolerable with several servers last year so we moved on. We’ll certainly be back if service and food continues as it was today.
Today we sat in the bar at a booth instead of the dining room. EXCELLENT service from Jodi who is the bartender and our server, and we really enjoyed the Tuesday lunch specials. Tuesday is Jack Daniel specials including several cocktails, appetizers and entrees. The Steak kabobs (2) appetizers were tender and seasoned well with slaw and pita bread. Perfect as an appetizer, lunch or small dinner. Both the salmon and grilled chicken entrees were flavorful, tender and enjoyable along with the $ 10 Tuesday special price.
Jodi was amazing handling the bar patrons and dining tables in the bar by herself. She was attentive, numerous drink refills without asking with beer replaced quickly and orders received fast enough for most lunch hours.

This location is my go-​to T.G.I. Friday’s in Indy.
The food and drinks are usually on point and anything you find at your usual T.G.I. Friday’s. However, the service the last three times I have visited have fallen off. Big Time. Sometimes the waiter forgets the table for minutes on end. or Maybe he forget a whole dish, when he had a comment about it when you ordered it. Or maybe some request is missing or left out. Its been crazy. So crazy, that another waiter came to my table when we were leaving and said «Next time, if you want better services, ask for _​_​_​.» His fellow staff member who served us was RIGHT THERE! WTH! I do not know what is going on with the manager and staff team in this place, but at least it does not interrupt the cook staff. Geesh! Get it together.

second time i have been here. this time was much better than my first. my waitress was a little loud, but so was the music. and we got seated next to the waiter stand /​hangout area. but she was great with my kids. always a plus, and kept me in soda.

I’ve eaten here a few times. The service and the food are good. Don’t have anything negative to say. As far as expectations go, if you have been to any Fridays this one will not be any different. Picking a Fridays is usually a matter of where’s the closest one and knowing that they offer a variety of food!!!
