Very fun place– especially for kids. Great selection of standard candy + unique candies, homemade carmel corn, gelato and ice cream. They host birthday parties and kids love it. Very reasonable and always friendly. I read the other review today while I was in the boutique and checked out offerings– as I mentioned, lots to choose from– including things you don’t see everywhere else. Highly recommend!

I have some seriously mixed feelings about Sweet Treat Boutique. When I first came in, I didn’t like it at all, primarily because I was assaulted by the rather unpleasant odor of dozens of types of candy all mixed together as soon as I opened the door. It was quite cloying. When I got my bearings, I decided to determine what kind of candy these people carry. Most of what I just saw was standard, name-brand stuff. Then I took a look at the shirts, most of which sport pithy sayings like«Stressed spelled backwards is desserts» and I was further unimpressed. But then I saw the ice cream parlor section of the store, and was swayed a bit. I really liked the retro-looking stools in sherbert colors, and once you get past all the banal candy, you can see that they do serve their own sweet concoctions, as well as several flavors of gelato. They had some cute gift-y stuff, like the cupcake-bedecked apron pictured here. It might be worth stopping in if you need a kicky mug for a female coworker or something.
