Not long ago i noticed Doctor. Shear, the periodontist in the workplace, to have an removal of the knowledge teeth. Doctor. periodontist was excellent! !! Doctor is extremely calm and gentle. I have done not experience the shot or even the removal whatsoever. It had been a really enjoyable encounter, to have an removal. For just about any process, Doctor. Shear solutions all of your concerns and clarifies every thing after, during and before. I suggest Doctor. Shear !

It’s been awhile and I have been able to compare several dentistries in the way things are handled at this office. I would recommend shopping around if you have the option and are looking for a dentist. Long time patients are seemingly treated like they just started going there. You may find that you get a 25 dollar charge for a missed appointment you didn’t know about and they don’t attempt to notify you of such charge, it just goes shows up as a collection on your credit.

I hate going to the dentist, but they have the friendlyist staff I have ever come across in a dental office My last appointment was at the end of the day, it was supposed to be there at 5:10, but I showed up at least 25 minutes late, but they still waited for me and saw me that night. I’m sure some of the staff were stuck staying later than they were supposed to, but no one complained at all. They are the friendliest staff I’ve ever dealt with. Thry really do make going to thr dentist a lot more tolerable than any other dental office I have been to. Thank you for all the work you have done for me and my wife. You really do have a great staff and we plan on coming back to see you for all our dental needs.

I recently had a crown done with Dr. Shear, and I must say I was truly impressed! The crown itself fits perfectly, and not only does it feel great, it looks so natural. between how wonderful his staff was to me, and the great work Dr. Shear performed for me, I would recommend his office to anyone!

Dr. Shear cares about his patients. This was important to me because I had left a demeaning dentist whom caused me dread and agony. It’s all smiles at Appearances Dental. I have had a couple of fillings and crown on my front tooth. I initially went to see Dr. Shear because of a chipped front tooth that my previous Dentist uncaringly mended with some dental putty. Dr. Shear advised me that if it were to fall off I would need a crown. Sure enough, a few weeks after my check-up/cleaning it fell off. He then fitted me for a crown and gave me a more than adequate temporary. We set up an appointment for the crowns delivery date. When he put it in, Dr. Shear carefully and masterfully shaped the tooth to fit perfectly(This is my front tooth we’re talking about!) in my teeth. Still looks great! I have had zero negative experiences at Appearances Dental. I have never been rudely belittled and its ok that the hygienist properly calls me out for drinking too much soda. I would not lead you astray, I’ve probably had more fillings, …I mean dentist appointments than most. LOL

I’m shocked that Dr. Shear appears in the Unilocal section under dentists, but I guess they don’t have categories for«Sadists» or «Clueless». My wife and I first selected Dr. Shear because we were both close to his office and he took our insurance. She needed a crown and was in pretty bad pain when she went to get the temporary crown. That night the temporary came off and she was in horrible pain. The next day, they put it back on for her, and two days later it came off again. By then, they had her crown and just put the permanent one on, but she was still in pain weeks after. On her first visit back, only the hygienist would see her, and she pretty much ignored what my wife said about tooth pain. She went back a week later and insisted on seeing Dr. Shear, who didn’t know what the pain was either. He just said for her to take Tylenol and call back in a week if it didn’t help. A week later, she went back again because the crown still hurt, and he looked and saw that he had put the crown on in the wrong direction and it was irritating the root. My experience with a crown was similar. Although I never lost the temporary, I was in pain with it for 6 months after I got it. They tried adjusting it and all sorts of other things, but he didn’t have an idea of what was wrong. That winter, I needed a Z-Pac for a respiratory infection, and miracle of miracles… no more tooth pain after that. I can only assume that there was an infection underneath that was causing the pain. That thought apparently never crossed Dr. Shear’s mind. There are lots of dentists in town that will accept your insurance. Do you really have to go to this guy?
