Sorianos has just about the best Barbacoa d Res I’ve had since leaving San Diego. It’s served just right with tortillas, cilantro, onion and lime on the side. If you haven’t had Barbacoa de Res(Mexican barbecued beef), trust me. It’s distinct. Savory, spiced beef cooked slow and deep to delicious perfection. I’ve had some of the other dishes at this place and trust me, they’re just fine. But having had it several times already, it would be tough to come here and NOT have the Barbacoa de Res. PS — The cilantro wasn’t totally as fresh as it could be. And the horchata, methinks, was made from a mix. But this place is otherwise top-notch. PPS — One order of the barbacoa is plenty for two.
