Best tenderloin in the city. Also the copycat salad is good, from the old Teepee restaurant. Priced very reasonable. Has an improved atmosphere but still the comfort of a family owned restaurant. Delicious homemade baklava.

I am so in love with Sister’s Place for brunch. I don’t have to get up early. I’ve never had to wait. I get a full pot of coffee that I don’t have to share(too much!), and it gets refilled frequently. The food is amazing. I love the omelets and the crunchy French toast is incredible. I’m also a huge fan of the chocolate chip pancakes. The price is right. Sister’s is definitely one of the best kept secrets of Indy Brunching.

I called and ordered a safe order being that it was my first time. Bacon cheeseburgers with everything and fries. It was cooked medium and was juicy I will definitely be back to try their menu while I am working on this side of town.

The bathroom is disproportionately nice, relative to the décor in the rest of the restaurant.

The interior is nice. The waitress was nice… However, the food, the main reason you are coming in, I’m guessing, is going to leave you unsatisfied and extra disappointed. No seasoning at all to the food. The eggs HADTOBEBEATERS. There is no way they were fresh eggs. The pancakes were hard. As if they were made, frozen and and reheated to serve. The sausage in the skillet was like sausage bites you put on sausage pizza. Completely wrong! I can’t say I would eat here again. I also can not recommend to eat here if you are a big breakfast person. Can’t vouch for the lunch.

There are so many other good options for breakfast, don’t go here if you’re looking for taste and quality. The pancakes taste like flour, they don’t use vanilla. Scrambled eggs tasted awful, no seasoning(no salt or pepper!). Real eggs but they taste off, as though they had expired or expired milk was mixed in with them. Fried egg wasn’t prepared as requested(over easy), white wasn’t cooked all the way. Coffee was average. Waitress could care less about customer service. Told her the eggs were bad and she did nothing to correct that, just said«well they’re real eggs». Cooks can’t make the breakfast basics, staff doesn’t care. Do yourself a favor and cook at home or go somewhere else. The cashier never asked how the meal was when paying. I’ve NEVER been to a place where the cashier didn’t ask how your meal was. I’ll never go back!

This is a great place for Sunday brunch. We’ve been there a few times now with a large group and we’ve been seated immediately every time. The place is quiet and very nice. You get what you pay for. They don’t skimp out on proportions at least on the breakfast side of things. I usually get the Hoosier skillet and it’s about as much as I can eat for a breakfast. Can’t comment on dinner or lunch. The staff is friendly. Kind of quiet but still fairly attentive. Never had any problems with rude service or any sort of ignorance. Overall the place is about as good as you can get for a hometown diner. It’s not fancy by any means so don’t be too critical expecting st. Elmo’s or milktooth or else you will probably be bored with the place. The place is a great diner and I’m sure I’ll be back for another hangover breakfast or two again.

I’ve been to Sister’s several times during the last month. Good food. Reasonable prices. Great staff. Love that they offer Canadian bacon. French Toast portion is huge. I always have enough for a second meal. Nothing fancy here. Just good food.

Sisters is what I expected and what I needed. It’s a no frills dining experience. You look at the menus and there are no fancy words just words that make you feel at home. I got an order of Bs&Gs with fried potatoes and eggs. The meal was spot on. The gravy is pretty delicious and one of the better ones I’ve had in a while. I’ll go back… actually I went back today. So for what it’s worth 2 stops in 3 days.

High class diner with amazing twists. Looking for delicious, homemade, and soul-warming soup during Indy’s frigid months? Sisters. Looking for a hearty start to your day? Sisters. I’ve never been disappointed. The food is so tasty and the atmosphere is quite relaxing. Owners are almost always there to greet you, and they dole out SOMUCHFOOD for the price. I recommend it to everyone that comes to Indy. Love it!

The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. Two breakfasts, two soft drinks, and a side of sausage with tip = $ 33. The waitress was okay. She couldn’t give any recommendations beyond the special of the day, which wasn’t helpful because we saw the lasagna on the board but were having that for dinner – didn’t want it twice in one day. She forgot to put in one part of our order, and when someone took one of our sides, she didn’t realize it until we pointed it out to her. Someone told me the service is always like this, but the food is so worth it, and I agree. Will totally go back.

I can’t believe I’ve passed this place so many times and have never stopped in before now. I was ravenous Friday morning after dropping my little person off to school so I decided to stop in for carry out. I got the ham and egg breakfast and a half order of biscuits and gravy. The ham was a nice portion and the hash browns were perfect(not to soft not to crispy) I can’t vouch for the eggs because I don’t eat them but they came with the meal. The biscuits and gravy were honestly the best I’ve had at a restaurant(no one can make it like granny) but they were really excellent. The french toast was okay for me, I prefer mine more eggy but they were still pretty good. I will being going back and may even make this my Sunday morning breakfast spot.

if your a fan of encore frozen dinners this is your place. sorry to say I wont be back. we went for lunch. ordered the special meatloaf manhattan. it was the worst! when my friend tried to give feedback to the cashier she was incredibly defensive, and responded well did you eat it! yes. we didn’t have an additional 20min to wait for something else, and that was the reason for ordering the special thinking it would be quick. not! also there was a piece of blue plastic hidden under the meatloaf. with food and staff this bad itll be a repeat of dimiri’s. short lived.

If you liked Dimitri’s(Thompson & S East St) and you were sad when they closed, well you’ll be pleased to know that the owner of Dimitri’s is the owner of Sister’s Place. Today my family & I went here for the first time. We enjoyed our food and since a lot of the items on the menu were the same as Dimitri’s we already knew that we were going to enjoy it. As far as the service, I felt like it was much better than Dimitri’s was. Our waitress was very nice and the food came out fast. She was very attentive to us. The restaurant was clean and the décor was nice. This was a good visit and we look forward to more. The only downside was that I wish I could’ve tried the original Sister’s Place because I’ve heard great things about it.

Was actually going someplace else after discovering it closed wound up here. Meh. Everything I ate was ok, wasn’t expecting 5 star. Most of the menu is home cooking, greek and Italian. Daughters ravioli was ok, wifey and mine bland. These guys are like this close to being good home cooking. In retrospect I should have ordered a burger. Menu looks good, place is clean, service competent.

Sister’s Place is back and better than ever! You’ll see many of the same faces, but in a dining area that has been refreshed. The layout makes so much more sense. Most of what you loved before is still on the menu, but with new additions. The tenderloin is Sister’s-esque with a similar crispy breading. The Dimitri burger is a great burger, cooked to your liking, with grilled onions, mushrooms, bacon and cheese. Um, yum! The fries are nothing to write home about, but I bet they’d do a well done cook on them if you asked nicely. Their mashed potatoes are good!
