Typical US government in action, or inaction. I think paint drying is faster than the«service» provided. The self service station in the lobby is faster, quicker and friendlier but as there is only one, be prepared for a line during peak hours. And never, ever, ever, ship anything overseas using USPS. If the package does not arrive, despite the website indicating it has, they will gleefully show all the different scans. My package was scanned through the U.S. to Canada(its final destination) then shipped back to Indy, then Chicago where it sits with customs. For two weeks(still there) and the USPS, a government entity, claims they do not have the phone number to the U.S. Customs, also a government entity. Great to see such a waste of tax payer money.

This is not the worst post office. Their employees are actually friendly. However it is chronically understaffed and dirty. Do NOT go at lunch time. The line is at least an hour at that time. If you can, use the automated machine. You can mail or purchase almost anything there. But do not go here if you are in a rush.

Like all post offices, they never seem to have enough employees actually working during the bust times. My biggest complaint, however, is that my mail carrier consistently delivers my packages to my neighbor. I’ve reported it at least a half dozen times and nothing has changed. I don’t want someone to be fired, but if their job is to deliver mail they need to be able to deliver it accurately, especially after getting feedback that they’re not doing so.
